“STAY AWAY!! Very rude and deceiving”

Horrible. They could not find the reservation, when they did, they put us on the third floor knowing the elevator was broke and here we are a disabled vet and a VERY pregnant wife. There was no continental breakfast, just an empty pot of coffee. We had to stay elsewhere and check out but yet we had to pay for whole vacation there.

“Convenient and Cheaper”

Convenience and price were the saving factors. Had moments questioned choice eg. elevator didn't work, older building and well worn. Was clean and had microwave and refrigerator in room. In room coffee maker was less than optimal - used coffee pouches and made individual cups but did not work well. Front desk clerk was helpful and pleasant. Slept just fine and would stay again if I had too but would look for other places first.

“Remodel, Refurbish, Renovate, & Revamp the Rooms PLEASE”

Even at the discounted rate, the hotel was severely overpriced. The road construction was the first obstacle we encountered. We could see the hotel, but the detours made it a challenge to enter the hotel easily. Although, the woman who checked us in was pleasant and helpful and the lobby was fairly clean, the pool and the pool area was small and uninviting. BUT, alas, the real challenge was discovered in room 117. The A/C was not on and the air in the room was musty and moldy smelling. As the refrigeratorc offee maker, and microwave were new and modern; the rest of the room was pathic. The beds were extremely poor quality. The mattress and box spring were in such shabby condition that the Salvation Army would refuse it as a donation. The blankets were thin and had several holes and the bedspreads had a foul odor. I won't even bother to tell you about the condition of the pillows UGGH!.The shower curtain had obvious mold growth on the bottom edge. The TV remote only worked if you were less han two feet directly in front of the TV. The rugs were badly stained and filthy and most likely were th esame rugs as when the hotel firat opened (many years ago - I am sure). The hotel offered free wi-fi, but in order to plug in the laptop, a light or clock had to be unplugged first. The hotel offered a 'continental breakfast' from 6:30- 9am; a time zone that was chosen definetly for the inconvience of the guests. SUPER 8- SUPER you 8n't.
