“Small town tourist trap”

Very convenient location, right on the main highway (395) near the Yosemite turn-off. Unfortunately not well maintained, windows and doors are old and don't work well, there is a porch behind the room but it's common to the other rooms=no privacy. Luckily it was summer, so we didn't need to use the archaic heating unit. Blankets were not exactly clean, but the sheets were perfect. If you're a camper looking to get out of the tent and have a hot shower, it's perfect. If you're looking for a comfy stay, choose another place. We didn't have sleeping bags with us....but would gladly have used them.

“Pleasant Motel in a Good location.”

The hotel is simple, but comfortable. Located near to the best parts of Yosemite and Mono lake. Don't expect anything fancy, but it is comfortable and pleasant to sleep in a bad after a long day hike. Has comfortable bad, cable TV, shower. I did not have a refridgerator in my room. Mono lake is extremely close by. The hotel is in central Lee Vining. Everything is close by. I would recommend the hotel, however it does feel overpriced for what you get, but the location is excellent.

“"Great Stopover"”

Great stopover for us from San Francisco to Las Vages. Beautiful little town at Lee Vining and the people are very friendly.

“YOSEMITE WEEKEND”

WE REALLY LOVED OUR ROOM. SECLUDED/QIET WITH A GREAT VIEW OF MONO LAKE. THE BED AS VERY COMFORTABLE, AND THE BATHROOM WAS SPACIOUS.

“Pricey”

Good location, but very pricey. Drive further to lodge if you can. The lake view isn't totally from the room; hence no privacy when admiring the lake.

Outside is decieving. Clean and comfortable. Make sure you eat at the Mobile station 1/2 mile from here on 120 towards Yosemite. Executive chef..great food

“Good hotel in Lee Vining”

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay based on the pictures and reviews from other travel sites. Although this is an older fashioned motel, it is well kept, clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were nice size. The free wi-fi was a plus. The only down size is that there is no a/c or even a ceiling fan, so we had to sleep with our door open to let some cooler air in. It is conveniently located from the east entrance to Yosemite and to Mono Lake (the salt tufas are something to see!).

“Awful accommodation!”

Room at ground floor immediately adjacent to main road. Woken at 5 am by passing traffic. No on-site facilities other than a limited in room coffee perculator. Town had no where to eat so went to bed hungry rather than a round trip of 30 miles to nearest restaurant.

“Not impressed”

It's OK hotel but overpriced.
