I stayed one night and was given a ground floor room (106). It was the first time I have had one on the ground floor and I will be requesting it again. Lovely room and very quiet...until the guests across the hall came in around 0200 hrs and allowed their young children to yell and scream for about 45 minutes. Great staff on site and excellent shuttle service.
My only complaint is - and some will view this as being overly picky but here goes - if I am going to pay $100 per night, I want REAL glasses and coffee mugs in my room. I don't want plastic wrapped, flimsy cups that one would get at a 1 star motel or a picnic. We're adults. We know how to use real glassware. There is a diningroom and bar on the hotel premises so one would assume they have a dishwasher so I don't think having some cups and glasses to wash is going to add much work to anyone's day.....
"Very good hotel for Airport Travelers or tourers"
The facilities inside the hotel were great (no pool - but a well equipped fitness room that I used) and the location close to the airport. The shuttle bus arrived on time even though I was the only one on it in the middle of the afternoon: they didn't 'double up' runs which was great.
The room was clean and fresh - if a standard style for the area and price-point of hotels in the area.
The breakfast was good: a range of both cereals and 'hot' food (sausages, scrambled eggs + omelette, bacon and French toast) as well as chopped & whole fruit, multiple types of teas / coffee and breads / muffins.
The one site restaurant + bar - open for lunch & dinner - was good with at least one 'special' each day that was very competitively priced; I had it one night and then Pizza from the store 2 minutes walk away the second that I ate in my room.
The included Wi-Fi worked and was fast enough for my (basic) needs.
Despite the ongoing renovations (I was in one of new rooms - very nice) and the general hassle & noise that cause my stay was very nice and the hotel / staff were clearly trying to minimise the impact - and succeeding. The builders stopped at 6pm and didn't start using power tools until ~11AM.
The staff were great and let me have a late checkout at 1PM so I could watch TV until I caught the shuttle bus.
There was an on-site 'Business Center' that I didn't use (presumably I could have printed my boarding pass etc.?) and a couple of conference rooms for hire.
Am absolutely impressed with this hotel. From the ice cold lemon lime water always available, popcorn in our room, huge suite with tall ceilings and the most amazing breakfast and coffee. My kids and I loved the pool and work out facilities and all the staff was so nice and helpful. Would stay here again tomorrow if I could.
