It is a very nice , well kept resort. The room is cleaned in the morning, and later in the evening they come by to exchange your wet beach towels with clean dry ones. A nice touch is that they don't hesitate to give you extra towels, some places I have stayed, they are very obsessive about giving you extra ones, not the case here. The food is top notch with lots of options, and if you do the all inclusive , be prepared to gain a lot of weight if you are the type that wants to get "the most out of it". I don't normally eat fish for a variety of reasons, but I decided to try a couple of dishes. Marlin and Swordfish, and I can't imagine how it could have been prepared better. At dinner, they are quick to refill your wine glass, but not pushy. No pressure to get out of the restaurants once you are finished eating and just chatting. Overall a very nice quiet hotel. If you are looking for a lively party place , then this isn't your place, although there are nearby places to go if that suits you.
I stayed in adjacent Coyaba for a week and I could not get extension so I booked the next door Allamanda at 40% of the price of Coyaba. To my surprise everything is quite same except these things: No attached restaurants managed traditionally. No Gift shops. No beach sports management. No Tennis Courts. No fitness room. The surrounded garden can be rated as 60% quality compared to Coyaba. But all these are at quite low price on the same beach front. The hotel is quite empty and I beleive that is the reason the management unable to put more staff. The environment looks quite dull because of not many guests. The staff I met just two people and they are okay. I lost my room key and the staff said "Don't worry we will replace" though the rule book says $50 for a lost keys.
The attached Lebanese restaurant food is very good and not pricey. I liked it.
The rooms are okay for the price we pay.
"Great location, excellent for couples, willingness"
From the moment of our arrival to departure we felt quite at home. the staff and management were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was a wonderful experience.
Nothing was to difficult all challenges were dealt with in a very professional way. The friendliness and willingness of the staff was beyound all expections. Never stayed inclusive before and not sure what to expect, this was a pleasure with no pressure.
Will surely visit again and maybe before 2014 ends.
My boyfriend and I stayed in a superior room at the Blue Horizons Garden Resort for four nights and loved it! The location is perfect--a short walk from both Grand Anse and Morne Rouge beaches, and a short bus-ride from St. George's. The hotel provides beach towels. There is a grocery store nearby, which made it easy for us to cook most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchenette in our room (I have a gluten allergy so this was a perfect arrangement.) The grounds are beautifully kept, and the units are spread out to give a sense of privacy and tranquility. While my boyfriend spent mornings scuba diving, I spent mornings jogging around the neighborhood (I felt safe to carry my iPhone with me) and reading novels by the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They let us store our luggage and check-in early on our first day there, and they also helped us make arrangements to take the ferry to Carriacou (which was our next destination). On Monday night, the hotel offered a special buffet dinner and live music--very cute. Overall, we felt very relaxed, safe, and comfortable during our stay there.
From the moment our family arrived for our one week vacation, the Mt Cinnamon staff made our vacation memorable. The staff was warm and welcoming, always available to help, but not intrusive. The rooms were a wonderful surprise: colorfully decorated, very comfortable beds (including the queen-sized sofa bed), plenty of room for two adults and two pre-teens, excellent air conditioning, modern appliances, and breathtaking balcony views. Short walk to the beautiful beach along a flowering tree-lined path. Food at the beach cabana and the restaurant was excellent. Small, but well-equipped workout facility (with beautiful view), was an added bonus.

This “Spice Isle” hotel located on the Southern tip of Grenada overlooking the Grand Anse Beach is 10 minutes from St …More
All if the hotels on the beach are twice and three times the price. My view from the room was the most incredible view I've ever had from a hotel. U see the entire bay. A double rainbow came out. It was amazing. A perfect weekend with my lovely lady. U walk to the beach in less than 5 mins, and you can eat at the flamboyant which had a wonderful menu with live music. Next door wa my fav place on the beach, it was a beach bar with a croquet field and bochie balls. Sooo much fun. Recomend this for a nice getaway if u don't wish to pay 500 at the beach resorts. It's a great price at this place
The Gem is ideal because of its value and location. All rooms come with a complete kitchen and there is a excellant grocery store near by at the Spiceland Mall, so one can cook or choose one's meals within the hotel or its sister hotel, the Kalingo. It is located on one of the finest beaches in Grenada and 5 minutes from the finest...the Grand Anise. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating with everything from wake up calls to recommending and arranging wonderful tours.
The rooms are cozy. This is not a luxury hotel but the beds are comfortable and the bedroom air conditioner kept the room cool. Think more cozy lake cottage. Our garden view room came with a terrace that gave us excellant sea views and magnificent sunsets. It was quiet and we both slept very well in the beds provided. Daily made service provided us with clean towels and freshly made beds. I would not hesitate to book there again.
The hotel is right on the BBC which is a beautiful beach which doesn't get crowded. The hotel grounds are well kept and the rooms are extremely clean and have a daily clean.
All the staff at the hotel including the management are very friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this hotel to all age groups.
