“did the job”

An ideal hotel to split the journey north to south conveniently located but not in the most attractive area. Having said that the i wasnt worried about safety, the car was surrounded by flash company cars, It seems to be used by businessmen. The room was the usual novotel family room all the ones in France seem to be clones of each other. The bed was comfy, the en suite did the job. The food was good and the staff friendly. We stayed during the week and it was nice and quiet. I wouldnt want to stay more than a couple of nights purely because there is a lack of storage to unpack.

Area recommendations

The Abbey just around the corner was very interesting a great place to stretch legs before heading off.

“AVERAGE MOTORWAY HOTEL”

Check in went well. However we were offered a room for the night on the top floor at the furthest end of the corridor by the stairs. We asked if there was anything more conveniently located and were given a standard room on the ground floor. It was very basic and difficult to move round one side of the bed. The fixtures were dated. The bed was a sponge but not uncomfortable. Pleasand enough motorway hotel.
