Very close to the airport which suited our needs. Modern and not much character but spotlessly clean with friendly and efficient staff. Situated on a main road so relatively noisy unless windows closed and the air concitioning used.

Out of town and just beside a big road. Not in beautiful surroundings, but easy to reach and plenty of space to park, especially if you are driving a big car and pulling a trailer. Friendly staff. Clean, except the rather grubby carpet in the room. Good supper and breakfast. Overall excellent value for money.

We took a family vacation up to Santiago. We needed Three rooms for the trip. I was very surprised at how nice this hotel was the the price. All three rooms were very clean and the bathrroms sparkled! The staff was very friendly and the restraunt was good. This was a nice location if you are driving to Santiago. They provided free parking and the city bus picks you up right outside to take you to the Historical center. I would recommend this to my friends and stay there again.
Food was a little expensive, and the kitchen is not 24 x 7, but otherwise all facilities were very good and it was in a handy location. Staff were excellent, and it is an easy trip to the airport by car.

The location of the hotel is a few miles out of the historical town, but since we were driving, that was not an issue for us. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are spacious and well kept with very friendly personnel. Those elements are found in many other good hotels, but what puts Puerta del Camino in a completely different league is the cuisine.
We stayed there only two nights and we made the right decision to have dinner there the first night. We couldn't wait to go back for the second day to repeat the experience. My wife rated the second dinner she had there as one of the "best meals in my life". The service at the restaurant is just as good as the food they prepare and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality they serve. I have already recommended this place to my close friends and we are definitely going back there the next time we are in Santiago de Compostela.
The hotel was brilliant. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival and always friendly and helpful with excellent advice on the bus stop for Mount Gozo. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast where a range of food was available and the staff wonderful. Our room had blackout and air conditioning and we slept very well. We caught the bus from the airport to the bus station for 3 euros and walked to the hotel in about 15 minutes all downhill. We walked into the town every day and back again as we enjoyed the walk. It was uphill going and this may be a problem for people who find walking difficult but I am sure the staff would advise on local buses. The hotel is part of a shopping centre and very close to a large supermarket where you can buy anything you might need. This would be helpful to know to find it as we had to ask for directions, it is obvious when you know with a smart reception and lift to all floors. I loved it. .
The hotel is very charming. The staff, each and every one, were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast could be better (real coffee please), but the bar/cafeteria has great pizzas and sandwiches
