Beautiful Hotel! Views are incredible overlooking Lake Geneva. Very friendly and helpful Staff. Not exactly kid friendly (swim times in the pool), however, not a huge issue. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend,
A good hotel. very near station buses trams. Lacks coffee and tea making in room, this limits freedom of drinking quickly refreshments at any time plus the costs involved. Bed had a very deep dip in the middle of the bed, lots of bumping into your other half in the night. The mattress had not been checked for comfort for a long time.
This hotel is well-located in a shopping district. The SBB-CFF train station is about a 10 minute walk away, down a steep hill. Although the 5th floor room was reasonably clean, the carpet was worn and needed a thorough steam cleaning. The room was decent-sized, but the bathroom was quite small. This hotel appears to be family owned/operated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk is closed at 11 p.m., so guests will have to let themselves in with the hotel code for the door lock. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast, but no other meals. Free wireless internet access is a nice bonus. Travelers can also use the hotel PC (5 CHF/hr.) Wireless reception was spotty and weak at times.

A great value in Lausanne compared to pricier hotels. Just 2 Metro stops from the train station, and located in a very quiet neighborhood. A bonus was that the hotel had air conditioning which worked well during a very hot time where temperatures reached 35 degrees centigrade (~95 F). Overall, very satisfied with hotel!

Winding up through steep streets overlooking Lake Geneva, Lausanne is a lively city filled with restaurants, music venues, and theaters. The eight-kilometer Vuachere Trail, running between Lake Geneva and the Jorat Woods, provides a slice of nature in the bustling metropolis. Lausanne, which began as a military camp during the Roman Empire, is also home to museums on subjects including archaeology, history, and art.
