"Everything you would expect from an old world building. Creaking floors, lots of doors to stop warmth escaping. This is not a five star resort so dont go in thinking it is. It has a lot of beautiful old world charm about it. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel, could not fault it. We used the pool and spa facilities on both days of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay with you. 5* * 2 very small points - 1. the windows need a clean in the pool to see the most amazing view 2. A mattress topper on the two single beds (pushed together) to cover the join. "

"Great stay at this conveniently located hotel. Rooms at front overlook busy dual carriageway so imagine that lower floors could be noisy at times. Bedrooms very comfortable with decent sized bathroom and bath/shower. Housekeeping daily. Excellent breakfast included in our room price. 2 minor criticisms - hotel could do to provide better detail about the Charles Street car park; we did 3 circuits before we located the entrance. Reception sparsely populated during check-in and check-out "
