“Great stay”
We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The grounds are beautiful and nicely kept, and the gym facility is new. It's more resort-like than the strip hotels. The location was great - walking distance of the strip and a number of off-strip restaurants. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so if you don't like to walk, you can easily bus. It's a short drive from the airport. The 24 cafe was awesome - steaks like butter - and very reasonable (we ate most of our meals there). The slots are looser than some of the other casinos, which is a bonus if you like to gamble. We had problems with our safe, which took a day to resolve, but apart from that the service was commendable. The soaker tub and shower were designed for people around 5'9, but were not uncomfortable to use. Huge rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Avoid walking too far east on Flamingo, it gets a little dodgy, but I walked to the Atomic Testing Museum (which was actually pretty cool) during the day without problem. Also, as an aside, if you need the best haircut ever, check out Danny, the barber at the Gold Coast (who was referred to us by the staff at the Tuscany) - he was a really talented barber (seriously, best haircut I've ever had).
“Very Happy, Great Value”
Excellent, beautiful surroundings, 2 blocks to the strip, stay there often. Casino is a little dated, lobby rooms and grounds beautiful. Highly reccomend for the value. Rooms very spacious
“Excellent choice would recommend to anyone”
We chose the hotel because of the deal available but also because of the size of the rooms. We liked being able to relax and watch a bit of tv in the comfort of the lounge area. There was also plenty of room to write up diaries and do the daily planning at the breakfast table. The bathroom was also huge. The corridor's to the rooms always smelt clean and fresh. When we arrived there was no iron in the room. Within 10 minutes of telling the maid, a brand new one was delivered to the room. The fact that the carpark was not some huge multi-storied building meant that it was a quick walk to the car each time we went out. We parked in Caesar's Palace one day, in the furthest of the two multi storey's. By the time we'd found our way into the hotel my husband nearly couldn't walk any further. We realised how hard it would have been for him if we were resident there, or in a similar sized hotel. Marilyn's cafe was excellent. We had three good value meals there. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of The Strip. There is a couple of petrol station shops nearby where you can buy groceries eg milk and juice.
“Not impressed”
Hotel is clean and nice- however for the $13 Resort fee we expected at least free internet in the rooms- but it's only available in the lobby. Cute Kitchenette- but empty of any dish, utensil or cookware. When we figured out the batteries were dead in TV remote it was too late to bother for room service.
“One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. I would go back for my next trip to Vegas.”
I stayed at the Luxor for one night and compared to my stay at Tuscany, Tuscany was so much better. The room was so much bigger, so was the restroom. I was referred to this place by a co-worker and I'm glad I made the reservations. I would stay here again.
“Can't beat this hotel for the low price!”
This was our first time visiting Vegas and we had an excellent experience. We came to town to run the Rock 'n Roll half marathon on Sunday night and couldn't have asked for a better trip. We were very impressed with the Tuscany hotel. Our room was fantastic. The bathroom was large and clean, the king size bed was actually extemely comfortable (most hotel beds are not), and the large suite we stayed in offered a small kitchenette space, seating area, and desk. The hotel grounds were great. We didn't use the outdoor pool due to the cold weather, but the hot tub looked inviting. We ate at the Italian restaurant at Tuscany and really enjoyed the food...and the price...after we used the coupon we were given at check-in. I would recommend making a reservation to eat there if you stay over the weekend. We also enjoyed the sports bar with the huge screen to catch the scores of several of the football games that took place over the weekend. We visited the casino at Tuscany and that was fine too. The location wasn't too bad either. We knew it was located two blocks off the strip, we just didn't realize how FAR those two blocks would feel. But, you should expect to walk a lot in Vegas regardless of where you stay! We spent a lot of time at Ceasar's and Paris as those two casino's were some of the closest ones to the Tuscany hotel. For the low price we paid, we were completely impressed and satisfied with the Tuscany Suites and Casino.
“I like it .”
I like it since it's not on the strip and since I'm there on business I don't need all the strip BS!
“Will Definately Stay Again!”
Very comfortable bed and very quiet room. Best sleep in a hotel EVER!!
“Good bang for your buck cannot wait for April 2012 to go back.”
We have stayed at Tuscany on 7 separate occasions. We noted that the room we had this past week has had the furniture replaced and the look is very appealing. A real change and improvement. We like the fact that all the buildings are only 3 stories high, because we have a fear of fire. The 24 hour restaurant is good and the servings are so big we had to use the fridge in our room for leftovers. The walk to the center of the strip is a short 20 minutes and the exercise is good for us. The staff we dealt with were all very polite and so willing to help. We wish that there were some disposable dishes in the rooms. The 600 square feet suites are ideal. We do not feel crowded. The resort tax is our only real bone of contention. I don't believe other hotels charge that, but I could not say that is a fact. We were at Tuscany in May and the price we paid for the resort tax was less than what we were required to pay on November 29th when we checked in. Is this necessary? I would recommend this hotel for anyone who does not wish to be pushed and shoved while trying to navigate around the casino. The players club membership is much better than in other casinos. There always seems to be something going on, where the Player's Club members can benefit in some way.
“nice garden, very convenient”
This was my second time at this hotel. The room was very large and comfortable. It was within walking distance of the strip, about 2 very long blocks. The hotel has beautiful landscaping and is quiet, but it is near enough to all of the action. There is a good gym, two swimming pools, three restuarants. It is not glitzy and it is not the Wynn Hotel, but I would stay there again.
