Excellent experience

I chose this hotel because it was our anniversary and I wanted something that would be nice and memorable. I also wanted something located in the middle of the Strip. The architecture has unbelievable detail and they take excellent care of you. Great time!

Fabulous hotel in the heart of the Vegas Strip.

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything.
Location: Right in the heart of the Strip. Great restaurants & entertainment options all around. The Cirque du Soleil production, Love, was across the road.
The hotel was amazing - wonderful luxurious suites. Fabulous marble bathrooms with large soaker tubs & separate shower. Really incredible restaurants & shops. Beautiful gondola rides.

Poor Service

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: Room was beautiful.
Cons: Attitude that they care about their customers.
Location: right in the middle of the action
I paid an upgrade fee for a strip view room. It was not a strip view - well perhaps if you looked out the corner of the window behind some buildings you might have got a glimpse of part of the strip. When I called to complain, instead of trying to help me they kept repeating that on their records it was a strip view room. I explained as I looked out the window that it was not. My only option was to check out of that room and into another room with no opportunity to see if the other room was better, worse or the same. I didn't trust their opinion as to what a strip view room was. After a few minutes of some lady telling me my non-strip view room had a strip view, I finally gave up ad sucked up my wasted extra fee - I didn't want to spend my whole vacation on the phone with the front desk. I'm sure they were counting on that. NO interest in making sure I was happy with the resolution to my problem. Then on check out 11:00 am. 11:00 am - really. In Las Vegas? Oh and forget about late check out. They deny it so often all you get is a recording telling you its not available.

Pros: I really enjoyed the spa, the shops, and the restaurants.
Had a very nice experience at the Venetian. It is a beautiful hotel, and I loved the shops, spa and etc. at this hotel.

Venetian stay

Posted 24-Oct-2014
Pros: The hotel was beautiful. It was very clean and very comfy.
Cons: I think if you are only stay for a few days your room should be closer to main entrance. We had an adventure everyday getting back to the room.
Location: It was great to be at the heart of the strip.
The hotel check in and check out was great. I would have loved to be closer to the main entrance to get in and out easier because I was with my grandson who is 3. I loved my stay it is a beautiful place.

The Venetian is a beautiful-high-class hotel. The suites are remarkable, the pools are well designed and the gym is very professionally equipped. The best part though is the shopping area, designed like the real Venice with a great verity of stores. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Vegas this is the one.

This is it!

Pros: Everything! The rooms, lobby, restaurants, the show, swimming pool, and the staff.
Cons: Hated the smell of cigarette smoke everywhere.
Location: Location was perfect - another spectacular experience was riding the world's largest ferris wheel (which was a 10-minute walk from the hotel).
The Venetian is the only place to stay in las vegas. Each room (suite) is huge with two big-screen TV's, and there's even a small TV in the bathroom. To enter the elevators to get to your room, you must show your room key to a guard - we felt like we received the utmost respect from all of the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the show, "Rock of Ages," which was at The Venetian. It was truly one of the best shows we've ever been to - we sat in the 4th row in the middle and were extremely satisfied with both our seats and the performance - we'd give it a 5 star rating. One of the BEST restaurants in The Venetian is the, "Grand Lux Cafe." Not only do they have one of the most varied menus we'd ever seen, but the food AND service were wonderful. One of our waitresses, Julia B., was super friendly and extremely accommodating, checking with us several times to see how we were doing. Last but not least, love love loved the swimming pool and the food at the restaurant (don't remember the name) outdoors at the pool.
