“Nice hotel but it has drawbacks.”
The beds are old and I found tilted ot one side. The rooms are clean but this is certainly not a 5 Star hotel. The front desk during check in was slow. We arrived before 10:00 AM and had to wait to check in, then had to wait in line. They don't want you charging meals etc. to your room so they clearly discourage you from doing that. And there was a $20 resort fee plus tax for each night's stay. The place was almost empty but that could be due to the recession, the gambling was tight, tighter than I had experienced before, but I guess that is how they are paying for everything. Eating there is very expensive, ridiculously so; for the quality of food we received; so we started eating elsewhere. All in all, not the best experience I have had in Las Vegas and I have been going every year for the past 10 + years. I first went in 1988 and then every other year for a while. Then we started going to the NFR every year in about 2001.
“Will try a different hotel next time”
My reservations included a $50 resort card however when checking in the gal did not include this card. It wasn't until I pulled out my paperwork that she then provided $50 towards food or drinks in the hotel. The bed was nice and comfortable with clean bedding. The room however was a little dusty and not vacuumed in the corners or close by the bed. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. No coffee machine in the room however there was a Starbucks in the hotel. I felt that the resort fee of $20 per day plus tax was too much for what you actually got. Next time I'm going to try a place which has no resort fee and coffee makers in the room.
“Keep in mind”
There are 'hidden' fees. they call them resort fees ... at least it included WiFi others it's an additional $20 for nothing that was useful to me.
“great interior, like new”
rooms are great, the outside a little away from the action, and a bit crappy looking on the outside. but makes up for it on the inside
“Hotel is ok, 3 or 3 1/2 stars, but not 4 stars.”
It was my 5th time in LasVegas. The hotel was nice but I expected more. I stayed at Planet Hollywood and expected the same cine they are but 4stars. Well, it was not. The hotel was very nice, but the rooms where just ok. For an hotel the looks pretty new, the room seemed outdated and in need of paint. Location was okay for certain things (Mirage, Fashion Show Mall and SDX bus route) but was far from the "center" of the strip. Not much going in the hotel. The hotel was better then Stratosphere and Imperial Palace, equivalent to LasVegas Hiton for confort but not what I expected from a hotel rate the same as PH, Paris and Mirage. Not in the same league.
“Very nice hotel but i just dont like the smell of the lobby.”
We did did enjoy our stay. Very clean, good customer service, close to other nice hotel, good buffet, very secure they have security at night. But the only thing i dont like at TI is the smell. I think its their trademark but as soon as u get inside the lobby and casino u can smell a strong flower scent (same smell when u clean your bathroom) but the rest are very good!
“In the centre of all the action”
Great location - within walking distance of many attractions and shopping. Only criticism is they charge a $20.00 a day "resort fee" which is nothing more than adding that amount to the cost of your room. Many of the other hotels in Las Vegas due this as well. Why not just be up front and show it as the cost of the room.
“Can't wait to go back LOVE LOCATION”
It is in a great location
“Great Value good location”
We have stayed here before and choose to stay again because it is always a great stay. Check in was quick and the front desk clerk was very nice. the hotel is smaller than the mega resorts but we like this. Its easy to find everything and quick to get where we wanted to go. We saw Bill Engvil in the Theatre, Great show and the staff again was helpful and fast. The only things that were mildly disappointing was that the pool was closed and that the TI Sirens show was closed also. TI is located by a shopping mall and across the street is a Walgreens that has alot of the little things you may forget or if you want to get water or snacks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The beds are so comfortable and the linen is so soft. We were on the 35th floor had a great view of the strip Great place and great value.
“treasure island”
Treasure island rooms are nothing special. The beds are uncomfortable. The furnishing are unexciting. The air quality in the lobby and restaurant area was very poor. they need a much better filtration system to filter the air and the smoke. i purchased breakfast through room service. It cost $38.00 (coffee, ok, omlete, toast). It took me 30 minutes to check out and the front desk people were rude. The bill was not itemized, so I had to wait another 10 minutes to find out what the charges were for on my bill. I would NOT recommend this hotel to others or stay there again.
