Great hotel close to the strip

Posted 04-Mar-2015
The staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was spotless when we checked in. We stayed for 5 days and housekeeping stayed on top of the room the whole time. The pool was closed while we were there which was a little sad. But there was plenty else to do.

Nice place to stay for a good price!

It was nice, they could use new renovations on other rooms, rather than just "select" rooms. View was pretty, room was clean, free wifi was nice!

The Great Snow Escape

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: The hotel was clean, Staff friendly and very helpful when needed.
Cons: Can't think of anything that hasn't already been said.
Location: Said it all in "Write about your experience."
The weather was nice and mild during our stay. The location of the Stratosphere Hotel, where we stayed, allowed for good walking along the "strip", as well as other parts of the city. There were many places to eat at various prices and many sights to see. While in Las Vegas we went to the Rio Hotel to catch the Penn & Teller show. We also took a bus tour to the Hoover Dam, which was amazing! I was very glad we choose Las Vegas for our snow escape.

I loved the Stratoshere! It was not overcrowded or too busy. It was quite refreshing.

Low cost hotel out of town in the North end.

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Not used to people smoking everywhere like they do in this hotel and casino. Very noisy guests who come and go at all times of the day and night. Electrical black out from 04.30 until I left at 10.00 with no explanation or apology. Noisy air con fans underneath bedroom windows overlooking the North side of town. I did not enjoy my stay and will not be returning.

Too much smoke

Posted 03-Mar-2015
We arrived and were immediately ushered to what we assumed was a check in desk of sorts. Nope, just high pressure to go on a time share tour. No thanks. Once I firmly said no, the lady was obviously rude and just turned away. Then we were forced to walk through a wall of smoke to get to the check in desk. It's so gross. We weren't there to gamble but wouldn't even play a few slots if it meant being in that amount of smoke. Room was okay. Big enough for a sofa but not one there. Instead of walking through the horrible Smoke to get in and out every day. We walked the hallway of our room floor from our "North" elevators all the way to the central elevators then just a quick scoot up to the parking garage and we had escaped most of the smoke. Too far off the main part of the strip to enjoy any walking time so if you don't want to waste the sitting on the deuce bus at red light after red light, stay closer to the action further down. If you don't want to see the glaring disparity between the glitz of the strip and the remainder of Vegas don't leave the strip. Dirty, run down, homeless, and panhandlers everywhere. Better yet, slip Vegas and see a nicer part of Nevada instead

Great place to stay.

Posted 03-Mar-2015
We had a wonderful time at the Stratosphere. Its a perfect distance from the strip and all the craziness on the strip. There's so much to do and see just in this hotel, from the casino, many shops to the beautiful tower over looking the strip. The rooms and hotel are really nice. The staff is friendly. Room service was great and came to us quickly. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Hotel

Pros: Prix (propreté)
Cons: Continuer a faire la réfection de l'établissement sans en affecter le prix.
Location: Visites des hôtels sur la strip et voir les spectacles offerts. Ne pas oublié Hoover Dam. Golf accessible a Las Vegas.
Qualité prix exellente.(hotel) Emplacement exellente (au bout nord de la Strip.) Accéder a la strip (bout sud) et au outlet par autobus (transport bien rodé et peu cher).
