Great central strip location

Posted 03-Jul-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms a little tired looking, could be updated
Location: Centre Strip, great location for everything.
Great central base for exploring Vegas. Basic rooms but who spends much time in a hotel room when there's so much to do in Vegas!

Nice and convenient

We have stayed in several hotels on the strip over the years. We enjoyed Planet Hollywood! The attached mall is great and affordable. Lots of restaurants inside or close by. Central location so easy to get to shopping, movies and other casinos. We definitely stay here again!

Pros: none
Cons: hotel rooms ASAP
I booked thru expedia a room to planet Hollywood in las vegas it was a 2 queen bed room not smoking room. when I did the check in the associate told me there is not a room not smoking with 2 beds we only have smoking rooms. so I had to get the room but the worst thing was to notice the bed with bed BUGS all over the bed it was a nightmare........ very bad experience thank you

central location on the strip

Posted 01-Jul-2015
Pros: can find own place to gamble, rest or eat ; and so easy to get away, just step down to the to shopping mall or visit other places on the strip :-)
Cons: swimming pool music, not so laud or ,,rap style all the type" you need a rest..so noise factor must be re-adjusted.
Location: top grade shopping outlets , variety of restaurants , you can cool down and rest easy ; use bus as it moves on the strip faster then average taxi
never mind the noise from slots machines, street / boulevard and crowd. You can hide underground and cool down quickly / the mall is just next stop from the lobby. Swimming pool is ok, but the rap music a bit laud ..boring. Other then this my room was spacious and fairly positioned away from main street traffic ; hop in the bus and you can see all strip long in 1/ 2 hour in and out. Have few dollars change in your pocket for tips, shop for a good restaurant no need to dive in to hotel buffet, too large and too much food anyways. Other than this ( yes hotel is aging and all its facilities too) this place is ok compare to other hotel(s) I did stay before and is well maintained :-)

Very poor, very aged, far far below expectations!

Initial parking took over 1 hour in shared car park. From Car it is necessary to drag your bags to the hotel via a public shopping mall and casino roughly 300 metres. Initial room was dirty (carpet / shower curtain). In general Furniture very dated, very damaged. Worse of all was the extremely poor pool area which is dirty and cost $20 to be near the small pool. Free of charge if you sit on old sun loungers in a lower concrete area where you cannot see the small pool and need to climb set of stairs to get to. Definately NOT a Las Vegas hotel.

Nice affordable hotel in the hearth of the street

Posted 01-Jul-2015
Pros: located centre to everything along the boulevard, easy to go around, love the happy hour at the bar.
Cons: Weird room theme, which may not be suitable for everyone. Suggest upgrading website to include option for customer to select room themes.
Location: Close to all the big expensive hotels, where all the shows are held. easy access to everywhere, and most of the tour busses will pick up here.
Close to all the major hotels where the shows are, easy to walk around. The rooms are neat, but with some weird theme which can be a turn off.

Great location

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Pros: Rooms was ok but location is great
Cons: Service not really good, should be less than £1000 for a week in my eyes
Location: Location is the best deal of this stradrard hotel
My experience was ok but I think this hotel needs to engage with there clients better. The cleaners are great and they will show good service but reception are poor as they have only 3 people on checking / enquiryies. The main plus for this hotel is the location wouldn't be my top five hotels in lasvegas.
