This place is meh

Good location but the room was old and dated and you would think with 4 stars they could afford 2 ply toilet paper. Disappointed for sure.

Average Las Vegas Strip Hotel

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Pros: Convenience and closeness to other casinos/shopping centres
Cons: Maintenance and improvements of the facilities
Location: If you are planing to rent a car, don't do it, you better buy the 3-day bus pass and you will be set, very efficient buses !
This is a nice hotel, and you get what you pay for an average Las Vegas strip hotel/casino, the facilities look kind of old even being a relatively new hotel I think kind of lack of maintenance or something like that. Overall my couple and I had a nice stay, and was very convenient because there was the theatre for britney spears show.

Planet Hollywood Delivers

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Pros: Modern, festive with decent music playing in the casino. Not for the jealous couples as there are ladies dancing in the table gambling pits.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Cosmopolitan is just across the street with the best burger in town at Holstein's. Nice new shopping and dining a few doors down by the Linq.
The hotel was vibrant and hip. The only drawback was the ridiculous $25 fee to use the gym. If you can give up your work out or fork over the cash, it's a great hotel at an amazing price. Tip, drink specials won't be found in the hotel, rather in the Miracle Mile shopping center attached to it.

Business Trip

Posted 23-Apr-2015
Pros: Beds were comfortable
Cons: It is a little dark looking inside, but not in the rooms.
We stayed here on night while there for a business conference. They upgraded us so that we could have a non smoking room. The room service was great too.

Pros: The wait staff at the Planet Dailies restaurant were attentive, eager to help and pleasant.
Cons: Other than spending $40 million to update the rooms and common areas, it would help if the hallways leading to the rooms were kept cleaner.
When I got to my room at 6 pm, it had not been cleaned up and the bed had not been made. I had to wait 20 minutes in line at the reception desk before getting a different room. There is no escaping the continuous loud music on the casino floor. The hallways leading to the rooms are dungeon-like, and, overall, the hotel seemed threadbare and tired.

Great Location

Posted 22-Apr-2015
Planet Hollywood is in a great location making it very convenient for walking in either direction of the strip no matter where you want to go. The Miracle Mile below is great as well. Staff came by everyday to change the towels and take the garbage. Overall a great experience, but when walking through the other resorts it was evident this was a more basic hotel. For the budget you can't go wrong.

Hectic

Posted 22-Apr-2015
Pros: We upgraded to a fabulous room overlooking Belargio.
Cons: Knowledge about the car parking and luggage drop off and pick up. More direction signs in the casino. An info desk. Info package in the room.
Location: Everything is near by. More casinos, shows, tickets, shops galor, restaurants, but avoid Gordon Ramsey's burger place.
Getting your bags from the car park is a problem unless you know you can drop them at the entrance (around the back) then park your car. Getting through the shopping mall and into and then through the casino can be a problem, unless you know where the North and South lifts are. Outside your room, and into the casino or street, or shops; there is noise! Hectic; exciting; over the top; but the people are nice; services are great; if you pay; pay; pay; the convenience is great; they will offer up grades to whatever you have booked. Great but not only do you pay the extra; they charge you for the paperwork! You have to pay resort fees to use their services! Even to sit in the shade around the pool! If your not much of a drinker, and just want to do sight seeing, I don't think this is the resort to try out. Still my kids said they would go back as a must do and they would again stay on the strip. Being older, no way; I'd stay out of the Strip and do the excellent bus service too and from. On and off all day for your day pass.
