Maybe my expectations were too high. I thought it would be a nicer hotel-at least the hotel rooms. Loved that its right by shopping and great location.

Loud party hotel

Posted 19-Aug-2014
PH is in a decent location on the strip, is connected to the Miracle Mile shops, so there is an ABC store close by for drinks, food, and toiletries, and has one of the best-value restaurants inside of it (Earl of Sandwich). However, the party atmosphere and lack of high end slots (no Ghostbusters?!) brings the rating down quite a bit. The room was nice enough and the staff was friendly, although the maid service started extremely early - around 8:30 am. The pool area is small and not what I would classify as a resort pool at all. Overall, I don't think we'll be staying here again, as there are so many options on the Strip that are better and more affordable.

Nice Hotel, centerally located

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: location
Cons: some new lounge chairs at the pool area
Planet Holleywood had everything my husband and I expected. We were very pleased with the hotel, restraunts, and casino. For those who don't mind a walk, Planet Holleywood was a great location. My husband and I walked down to Mandalay Bay one night and then on the next night we walked the other direction to the Venetian. It is a long walk in either direction, but we found that for all the stops we made along the way, it was better than getting on and off the bus. Getting the bus and show tickets were also very easy there were locations very close to the hotel. Get the 24 hour bus pass if you plan to go to old Vegas. The hotel wasn't extremely big so it was also easy to get to and from our hotel to the strip, to the pool, or to the restraunts and casino. If your looking for a luxurious pool area, it is not here. However, there were two pools. One of which was for adults 21 and over and the other did not have an age limit. It was great to be able to get away from the children at the other pool. There was also a big area with lounge chairs and there were always chairs available.

First time in Vegas was bad .. The hotel is right in the middle of everything so that was a big plus . The staff was nice and helpful . However the bed wasn't comfortable ..

Nice Hotel in Las Vegas

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: Convenient Location and Nice Restaurant (Spice Market)
Cons: Sink of bathroom was a little clogged.
Location: We could walk to Bellagio for Cirque de Soleil "O", and High Roller etc.
Hotel location was very convenient to walk along the Strip in Las Vegas. We purchased Buffet of Buffets and tried several places, and we finally found the Spice Market in this hotel was best restaurant for buffet.

Nice stay on the strip

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: I loved the Bar, with the live music band, which was not the case in many other hotels. The casino floor is quite vibrant and active.
Cons: The pool area could be improved and more places allocated for visitors, they exaggerate a bit with the VIP reserved sections which take lots of space
Location: Bellagio is a 5 in walk, so are the Paris hotel, PH is quite central and all the strip is accessible in walking distance
Great place to stay cost/benefit ratio wise. Great location quite central on the strip, where most of the action takes place. This Hotel has it all, great casino, sexy dancers, live music, trendy and fun. You do not spend a fortune to steay and you get your money worth and more using the facilities at the hotel. Would recommend it for a younger crowed and people looking to have real fun in Vegas. One thing that could have been better would have been the pool area, was not the nicest of the surrounding hotels, although not too bad. There are two pools and two sections, one with a DJ and loud, one with good music on and calmer, depends on your mood I guess.

Just Okay

Staff was mediocre hotel was nice but the casino employees were extremely rude. There was one lady running the crapps table who was unbelievably miserable. I'd never spend money in that casino again.
