The Paris for EDC

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Pros: location, cleanliness, comfort, hotel staff, restaurant quality
Location: VEGAS BABY
Used the Paris as a home base for EDC 2015, everyone in my group was very happy with our stay. The hotel staff were awesome and very accommodating with cleaning the room in the evening while we were out, rather than during the day when we were sleeping/recovering. The amenities are awesome; the dueling piano bar is such a good time and cannot be missed, while Mon Ami Gabi is one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating at. The Paris is very centrally located which makes it easy to check out other hotels and restaurants along the strip by foot. The casino in the Paris has slightly higher minimum bets, but the casino at Bally's (connected to the Paris) is inexpensive and generally has a more enthusiastic vibe. One other note is that I was very impressed they offered us a late checkout at no additional cost, despite having over 1,000 rooms checking in and out the same morning.

Pros: We like the comfort of the rooms. The bathrooms are nice and big.
Cons: Can't think of anything to improve
Location: The location is excellent. There is a lot do that is walking distance from the hotel.
We had a very nice time staying at the Paris hotel.

Great hotel

Out did not get cleaned so it was a little disappointing for a hotel that nice. Lacks variety of restaurants but otherwise a great a place to stay.

Nicer on the outside

Posted 29-Jun-2015
The parking was free but each day the garbage in the cans was piling up. By the time we left, it reminded me of a fraternity dorm after a party. A time share sales group is set up right as you exit the garage so beware. The wait to check in was long. The room was standard but the bathroom wall paper was peeling and the paint was chipped. We brought our kids but there is no family friendly rating. If there were, I would give it a 3/5. Some of the guests were typical Las Vegas tourists. There were bikini clad girls who danced on bars near the casino which we passed while exploring the hotel.

Location was the best part

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Pros: Excellent location. The hotel had lots or wonderful eating options. Lobby lounge, great music nightly casual fun crowd.
Cons: Updated rooms. Better AC. Treat guests better. I felt I was bothering them. That was a first for me in Vegas. Better pool.
Location: Check out lobby lounge. Mon Ami Gabi and Martoranos. Gordon Ramsay Bgr at Planet Hollywood. Street btw Flamingo and Linq, food and shops Bally shops
This is my 5th trip to Vegas and wanted to try a new place. Was disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm by staff. This was the first time I was not offered a good upgrade even though I noted that I was trying this place for the first time. We had a late flight on departure day and ended up booking a room in another hotel because they wanted to charge us for a full day and the rate was triple what we had paid all week. Room was dated, stains on carpet...I read this in reviews and expected it but would have liked to be pleasantly surprised (maybe if I had gotten an upgrade). Had to have A/C looked at as it was barely working. It was absolutely filthy. I don't think the filter had been changed in some time and inside the unit was covered in grey dust and dirt and had to be vacuumed extensively. The maintenance guy (Mark) was very nice about it though. Pool was a huge disappointment. It doesn't get sun until after lunch and we had to go to neighboring hotel pool (Bally's) every morning. Location was great though, very central. Lots of great places to eat and good entertainment in the hotel.

Pros: Location, ambiance, and rextaurant choices.
Cons: I was not happy with the housekeeping staff this stay. She would call and wake us up to see if we wanted our room cleaned.
Always a good experience at this hotel. Location is great nice and central. Staff are freindly and very helpfull. We were not happy with housekeeping this visit. She would call and wake us up to see if we wanted our room cleaned. I'm sorry but isn't this part of their job and what we pay for. Restaurant choices are great and the paxtries are to die for.

Nice restaurants, mediocre and outdated rooms

Posted 28-Jun-2015
When I arrived on at 1 am, it took nearly 45 minutes to check in with only three parties in line in front of me. The desk clerk was rude....guess she was working on her Parisian hospitality. When I arrived to my room it appeared that the cleaning crew had only done about half the job and quit. Someone else's half empty drink containers were left in the refrigerator. The baseboards needed repainting and the furniture was in dire need of repair. When I went to use the treadmill in the spa the next day, I was told I was going to be charged an additional $25 a day on top of the $30 resort fee, because the spa had a different owner than the hotel??? The calibre of room and service for the price was truly sad. I walked across the street to their sister hotel and paid half for a cleaner, more updated room. On a positive note, the food and shops as well as their staff at the Paris hotel were amazing!

Incredibly quaint, cozy and elegant hotel. Refreshingly different than the others.
