Late night check in

Posted 19-Dec-2014
We rented this room for my parents who had an unexpected 3 hour delay. We were looking for a free shuttle, even though the shuttle was advertised, the service ended at midnight. We called in advance, disappointed in lack of communication. Also, we reserved a king bed but they received two beds instead. Paid the difference, but didn't get what was requested. Just an FYI, no huge deal, just a little disappointed.

Convenient hotel close to my office.

Posted 18-Dec-2014
Pros: I like the convenience of Starbucks and the Café.
Cons: The TV movie selections
Location: I just stay for work.
I find this hotel very convenient as it has a Starbucks for coffee and a quick Café for dinners. The only drawback is the lack of TV choices as I stay in the courtyard and I haven't been able to watch movies in my room.

Very dissapointed

Posted 18-Dec-2014
Pros: Oyster Bar Restaurant
Cons: Customer service. Palace Station is inexpensive and customer service is at that level.
Location: Close to Outlet.
Jennifer at the front desk was rude. There was another lady who checked me in and she's rude, too. I did not expect too much from this hotel because I already knew it's old hotel but at least staff could be nice. The only reason I went to Vegas last time was to eat Pan Roast at Oyster Bar which is located inside of Palace Station. That's the only reason why I stayed at Palace Station. But next time, I will never plan to stay there again. Ladies at the front desk treated me like a low class guest. I booked for King Bed, they didn't have any and they told me to upgrade a room with extra charge. Very dissapointed.

Inflated "Resort fees", difficult and over priced.

Posted 16-Dec-2014
Pros: It is a place to sleep, nothing special. I was just as comfortable (with free breakfast) at a Hostel at half the price.
Cons: EVERYTHING.
First room reeked of odor (Smoke I think), the hallway had this awful vanilla smell. I changed rooms which meant I had to haul all my stuff out and go to the front desk (long distance away). They could not simply send someone with the new room key. I am riding a motorcycle so that makes it even more difficult. The second room was better but I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Next morning I wanted to buy coffee....$3.59 for a cup of coffee. Even the cheapest hotel provide FREE coffee. The hotel is hard to navigate as the signs are small and few...just to find the front desk. They charge you almost $17 extra (you have to pay it) for Wifi and "Spa" services. It amounts to a swimming pool, Jacuzzi tub and slow Wifi (very slow). If you want faster Wifi then you have to pay extra. The TV in the room has only 10 channels. You can pay to watch movies or anything else. Overall Las Vegas is a rip off. What, you people don't make enough money off gambling that you have to charge almost $4 for an average cup of coffee ?? I thought the bay area is expensive but this is ridiculous.

Noisy

Posted 12-Dec-2014
Pros: Convenient location and great price
Location: Centrally located with easy access to other city venues
The room was on the first floor of an older unit with the maintenance drive abutting the room. Although the room was clean and updated it was noisy and difficult sleeping.
