A great place to stay.

Posted 18-Apr-2014
Pros: Everythind, as above.
Cons: They need an extra shuttle bus on busy days to the strip.
Location: There is a Macdonalds near by, not much else that we found.
The breakfast buffet was very good, and a great price of $4.99 with their club card. The room in the courtyard was basic, clean and comfortable. Toiletries were provided, and domestic phone calls free, along with free in room wifi. The shuttle picked us up at the airport, no problem, and took us back at the end of trip, very convenient, and free. The shuttle to the strip was very wlcome, although one day we had to wait an extra hour and a half as there were too many people trying to get on. We asked them to provide another bus, but no luck. We spent six days there, and would stay there again.

DISAPPOINTED!

Posted 17-Apr-2014
Cons: ROOM SERVICE, AND CONTROLLED SMOKING.
I WAS UNPLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH AN EXTRA $14.99 FEE, PER NIGHT, WHICH I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF PRIOR TO MY STAY. THE CASINO WAS SO SMOKEY. THEY SHOULD HAVE SMOKING SECTIONS AND NO SMOKING GAME TABLES. i WILL NOT STAY AT STATION HOTELS AGAIN.

Beautiful Inexpensive Hotel in Vegas

Posted 16-Apr-2014
Pros: customer service and the rooms. The bell desk especially!!
Cons: Nothing, I loved it.
Absolutely LOVED my stay at the Palace Station! Received nothing but great customer service from the front desk, room service and the bell desk. The rooms are really nice and extremely clean (not to mention the huge tv's in the rooms!) There is a timely shuttle that takes you to and from the strip and the airport. This hotel was nothing short of fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an affordable, clean hotel with fantastic customer service!

Las Vegas

The courtyard rooms left room for improvement. The heating and air conditioning will blow right next to your head if in a room with 2 queens and you are closest to the wall unit. (That means really cold or really warm air.) Also, in the courtyard rooms there is only a shower no bathtub. The tower rooms are excellent! Can not say anything negative about them. If I were to go back I would only stay in the tower rooms. The people working there are great too! Have a nice stay.

Paper thin walls

Service was good but you could hear everything in the next room as if you were in the same room. Poor privacy

Never ever go there again

I was very disappointed in this hotel, beds were hard and room service was bad the iron they put in the room ruined my little cousin's shirt that he was supposed to wear for my older cousin's wedding.the only good thing i can say about it is the security was very good. The rest was horrible besides the food palces that were there and our non- smoking room smelt like smoke.

disappointing

Cons: better beds and they need to let Expedia and those places know of charges like hotel fees on top of what you have already paid.
We went there for my nephew's wedding When we arrived the hotel staff was considerate that I had a daughter with a sprained ankle and gave us a down stairs room. The room was really small. the beds were not very big. It barely fit my husband and I and we are not huge people. We had to roll over together. They beds were the worst, very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on springs. The clock didn't work well and kept changing it times. The ruined my son's shirt and it took them 40 minutes to get another one. But it was new. The buffet restaurant and Hotel does not give the whole truth about prices. lots of hidden charges.

Bad security

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Very stingy...toilet papers like hard news paper, including tissue paper. Limited towels..only two no extra., no extra pillows, only got extra the next day after we left tip. Door and elevator key does not work, lucky me my husband inside the room able to use cell phone. The guy from other room keeps yelling and knocking at the door for 20 minutes for wife to open door no courtesy phone on the floor to call and no security. Look like casino has no security camera for emergency.

Book The Tower NOT The Courtyard Rooms

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: Comfortable beds and large bathroom.
Cons: Staff attitudes, they often treat you like you are an annoyance rather than a customer spending hard earned money in their establishment.
Location: Great location. Centrally located off-strip at Sahara and I-15 right in the center of the city. Good self and valet parking.
I have stayed at Palace Station before and have always booked a room in the tower. The rooms have been clean and comfortable but they have no coffee pots, water glasses or other amenities, plus you are required to pay a ridiculous fee for internet access. The location is much more convenient than the strip for a business trip however and the price is usually (though not always) reasonable. The hotel is easy to get in and out of and there is a good variety of restaurants, although the food can vary from great to abominable in the same restaurant from one day to the next. My last stay, the office booked a room in the Courtyard section of the hotel which was a nightmare. This area is part of the old original 2 story section of the property and "OLD" is an understatement. The hallways literally stink, I was afraid to walk down the corridors, the carpets had burn holes and there wasn't even soap in the room to take a shower. I went to the desk and asked to be upgraded to the tower but the front staff refused the request. By the way, staff courtesy is a variable as the restaurant food. Overall though, it's a decent place to stay as long as you stay in the Tower.
