“Brilliant location great holiday”
The hotel is ideally located at the centre of the strip. Very helpful staff, clean rooms that were very spacious. Would use this hotel again.
“TERRIFIC place to stay in and to play in”
While the room wasn't huge, it was more than adequate for two people. Everything was spotlessly clean. Big TV, efficient hairdryer, good aircon system, lots of towels and pillows. Housekeeping was amazing and did a very thorough job every single day. They even anticipated our needs and provided accordingly. E.g. the first day, they noticed that we had chucked an empty bottle of water (bought from the hotel's convenience store) in the bin. So housekeeping put 2 bottles of water in our room. The second day, they noticed that we had emptied both bottles, so they left us 3 bottles of water! The casino is fantastic. Really good atmosphere, nice crowd of players, and proficient dealers. It offers all the full range of table games and a magnificent selection of slot machines to cater for all tastes and budgets. Everything is laid out around the casino (theatres, bars, restaurants, shops, lifts, lobby, etc) so it's easy to get anywhere. All the staff are polite, friendly, and helpful. The Monte Carlo's position on the Strip is ideal. It is only a few minutes' walk from New York New York, MGM Grand, Excalibur, etc. It is also connected to City Centre, so you don't need to step outdoors to get there. There is even a free overhead tram that takes you to Bellagio, which is right smack in the middle of the Strip. Just opposite Monte Carlo is a row of shops including Walgreens, and right next door is a 24 hour CVS store. I would definitely stay at Monte Carlo again next time. Fantastic!
“Classy casino hotel”
Comfortable rooms, good bars and food outlets, plenty of pools, big casino, and heaps of stuff I didn't even need to use. Walking distance from all the best parts of the strip and a long way from the bad parts.
“A good 4 star hotel”
The rooms at the Monte Carlo were big, clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel facilities were good (although we can't comment on the pool as we didn't use it). Ideal location for viewing the sights of Vegas. A good 4 Star Hotel.
“Luxurious and affordable”
The MC has a fantastic location on the strip and its pool is brilliant. We loved the restaurants, especially the variety. I have stayed in several other hotels on the strip (Wynn, Bill's, Luxor) but preferred the MC as it has everything you want from a resort hotel but is less pretentious and more affordable.
“Fabulous Holiday”
The Monte Carlo Hotel is conveniently located on the "Strip". Surrounded by other high class hotels it is a good base from which to explore. In common with other hotels a large number of facilities are 24 hour. Gambling plays a large part but there are plenty of other interesting activities. The airport is about half an hour away. Tour buses pick up from the hotel.
“Really enjoyed our stay”
Really enjoyed our stay at Monte Carlo, some Las Vegas hotels are just too big but we found it just right for us.
“Would definately stay again”
this was my 2nd visit to Vegas and if I return I will definately stay at the Monte Carlo again. It is clean, the staff were helpful and it is well situated, Would recommend
“Best Value for great location”
I've stayed in a number of Vegas hotels and this is my favourite. The Bellagio is beautiful but with all the tourists in there, its a pain to get from your room to the strip and the Planet hollywood has great views of the fountains but has no personality. The Monte Carlo is not quite so touristy as other big strip hotels and has a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are generous and clean, and i quite like the fact that they have a green policy at the hotel with regard to changing towels and sheets - in a city with no water its a great idea. The casino is a reasonable size, but if you want to escape the hotel quickly without having to walk through, you can head out the side entrance and be on the strip in no time. It has the best location, with all the big resort hotels on the doorstep. The buffet is good value - not the most expensive, nor the fanciest, but good food reasonably priced. The pool area is great and if you want an inflatable for the lazt river, go to the pharmacy next door to the hotel, they are $5 there! It has the excellent tram to the Bellagio and stops off at the new City Centre hotels. In short, its great value for the location, doesnt have too many tourists clogging the place up, has great pools and nice staff. I've just spent my 3rd week at the hotel and its never disappointing.
“Silver Wedding Anniversary Trip”
We treated ourselves to a 10 day stay at Monte Carlo Hotel for our silver wedding anniversary. We investigated a range of hotels on the strip, and selected Monte Carlo based on info provided by Expedia and previous reviews. We were not disappointed. This is a great hotel, in a great location. The service provided was very friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The room was extremely comfortable and the king sized bed was enormous. The only negative we encountered was the Monte Carlo Buffet. This definitely does not cater for European tastes. The selection of food was extremely poor and the quality even worse. Tried it once, never again! Apart from this, we had a brilliant time and would have no hesitation in staying at this resort hotel again.
