“Great If budget driven”
My husband and I stayed one night, we were checking in to our destination the following day. The service and clientele were friendly and made us feel very comfortable after a long day. The Cuban restaurant was excellent . Neighborhood a little seedy but at these prices? Even so, everyone was friendly in the neighborhood. And they loved the World Champion Green Bay Packers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“DUMP!”
Don't stay. The area is unsafe! The room was unclean and smelled of body odor. The walls were dirty. The room was so tiny one would have to crawl accross the bed to get to the rest room. The hotel staff was rude and inconsiderate.
“Wont go back.”
It was a good deal, I just wasnt impressed with the area of town. The location on the Strip was far north and the main part of the strip wasnt easily accessible.
“Cheap and last minute”
This hotel was ok for the price. Very out dated. Would only recomend if you just need a place to rest your head for the night.
“Expedia dropped the ball”
I asked for nothing less than a three star motel located on the strip. What I received was a motel WITHIN SITE of the strip, but located in a seedy part of town. It was surrounded by adult book stores and adult theaters. The beds were pretty much slabs of concrete, the phone did not work, the view out of our window looked out on a part of the building that looked like a third world shanty ( the roof consisted of 2x12s with a piece of tin nailed on top, there were wires hanging exposed. PLUS I could have gotten a room on the strip and in much better condition, for the same price if I had just waited and got it on my own.
“Good, cheap hotel”
Pretty standard cheap hotel fare. The beds were fine, except for the sheets that didn't really fit the bed and the sort of sub-par, small pillows. Also, one night we had called in for extra blankets twice, and they never showed up. Upon check out, I informed the lady at the front desk who seemed genuinely apologetic and said she would speak to the night clerk. The heating/cooling unit for the room worked well (we only used the heater) and heated up the room pretty fast. $5 breakfast plates at the restaurant located in the hotel lobby. Pretty decent sized for five dollars. No continental breakfast is included. tldr; Honestly, for a place to sleep at night, it did its job, and it did it cheap. No huge complaints, would stay at a HoJo again.
“Nice place to crash for a night”
We stayed 1 night here passing through Vegas. It's a HoJo; nothing super fancy but that was fine with us. It certainly isn't at the caliber of the big Vegas hotels/casinos but we didn't care about that. The neighborhood wasn't so great but it was safe and just fine for two tired travelers leaving first thing in the morning. Lots of free samples and clean. We'd stay again but honestly, the big Vegas hotels can be cheaper than here. It's all a matter of preference but this one was just fine. Close to wedding chapels if you're into that :)
“Family Operation”
Very nice family operates this business. Exterior courtyard is very nice and well maintained. Interior is used but tolerable. While the casino hotels offer a lower rate, this one is away from the hustle bustle. For a walker or bus rider it will suffice, but if you have bags, there is NO SHUTTLE SERVICE and a taxi will cost a bundle to any airport (TRAVIS also).
“Avoid”
Bad experience overall. Floor felt thin and bent as you walked on it, it would creek in numerous spots. We were in the second floor next to the door that leads down to the lobby, every time the lobby door was used it would slam shut, it woke us up several times. The door to the closet was stuck and would make a loud screeching sound when used. It was a last minute trip that was planned the night before and its the reason I choose it. The staff was nice, I got a free sample Schick razor blade and its about 15min off the north end of the strip. Other than that it was a bad experience, I recommend you avoid it if you can.
“Not bad for the price, good location”
The hotel is as expected. Good location on the strip. Clean and friendly.
