Harrah's was awesome and a great value.

Posted 25-Jan-2015
Pros: Staff, Dining Cafe (lots of choices) Location and it was very clean
Cons: I am spoiled by the free buffet breakfast in the usual hotels. I enjoy saving money and even though room are fairly cheap...there are little fees...
Location: On the strip...walk to most anything
We were first -timers to Vegas. Initially went to the Golden Nugget for the pool but it was closed. Moved to Harrah's. Got a great deal on room. Nice cafe area; casino;s...etc. Close to everything! Staff friendly... FYI....seems no hotel in Vegas or at least in the main parts of Vegas give continental breakfast or free wi-fi. Still a good deal but you will pay for all the little things that one becomes used to when you stay at your rural Days Inn. I would recommend seeing Freemont area downtown. We wanted to experience the bigger picture, not just casinos, and we did, from wealthy gamblers and half-dressed women to homeless and desperate people doing anything for some money in their bucket! Hotels are beautiful.... Mixed city....Glamour....glory....poverty...desperation....quite the Spiritual journey if you make it one!! Thanks

Good location on the strip

Posted 24-Jan-2015
Pros: The food was good in all the venues we tried
Cons: Gaming rewards were average, décor isn't anything special in comparison to other hotels, and "resort" fees seem a bit high
Location: On the strip near shopping, many other casinos, shows, etc, great location
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, not the most exciting atmosphere in comparison to some, has a hidden resort fee of course and you're never really sure what that goes to, restaurants are good, slots seemed a bit tight

Hotels proximity is the best (Center strip) and bus to downtown right outside. Drinks not watered down and bartenders are all great. Enjoyed the blackjack but still wish there were one or two 5 dollar tables Friday and Saturday.

for the price..could have been cleaner(rug)

Cons: why don't hotels provide enuf wash cloths for 2 showers/day...morning to get moving, and evening to get dressed all over again to go out.
Location: vegas is "things to do" overload
Just a hotel to stay in...nothing specia. had t ask for additional wash cloths...NOT everyone goes out all dressed up in their rmorning shower

Vieil hôtel bien situé, bien sonorisé, propre.

Posted 21-Jan-2015
Chambre 2 lits, grandeur chambre confortable. Salle de bain non négligée.

Upgraded but ..

Posted 21-Jan-2015
Pros: Not the top of the line, but well located and friendly staff throughout.
Cons: Some areas look a bit worn and a little touch up here and there would help improve the overall impression
Location: Central on the strip and across the street from the Caesers forum shops.
I rented 2 rooms for our party, and when we checked in, the hotel had us for 2 King size, when we had requested 1 King and One room with 2 beds. No problem, and the reception person upgraded our party to 2 suites on the top floor. NICE. Everything was fine until I returned to my room about 12:30 AM to find the temperature at about 80 degrees. Set at 68, the thermostat was stuck or something and we were HOT, and not as in throwing the dice at a craps table HOT. Engineering showed up in about 10 minutes after a call to the desk, had to open up the unit, bypass some things and reset the system in order to get the heat off. Not the worst thing that can happen, but overall it was about an hour to get it taken care of. Still, it was an overall good stay. BTW, when I mentioned the aforementioned incident to the check out person, there was no record in the system of the need for the repair.

Everyone who works there was very accommodating.

Pros: Very convenient.
Cons: Too many people trying to sell you something.
Location: Had no problem getting round with the help of your staff.
Check in was very easy and fast. The restaurants were excellent. The waitress and cleaning staff was very friendly and really seemed to want to please my husband and I while gambling. Never had to wait for a waitress to take our order and return. Very pleased with our vacation. Thank you

Nice for the price

This is not the fanciest or highest-end hotel in Vegas, but financially it fit into my budget and was still nice enough for a vacation. I didn't get a suite, so the room was a bit small. However, it doesn't have to huge if your not planning on spending a lot of time up in there anyway. We were always on the go, so it worked out fine. A few things that bothered me: 1) The carpet was in need of a good shampooing. 2) The bathtub drain was blocked up. 3) Low flush pressure on the toilet. 4) The blanket on the bed was thinner than I liked. Now the good things: 1) Harrah's is right in the heart of the Vegas strip. Most attractions are in walking distance, with buses being available everywhere else. 2) It is also a direct stop on the monorail line. 3) The restaurants and bars in the hotel are excellent. 4) Less expensive than some other hotels.
