“Rocking”
They are certainly committed to their hard rock theme - dark walls, lots of bling, a tattoo parlor on site. The patrons seem to be committed to an idea of hard rock as well as every morning (I was up early as I was in town on business) the floors in my hotel wing were strewn with evidence of the previous night's partying. The noise in the halls and the smoke from the room next door that seeped into my room was more evidence of the party atmoshpere.
“awesome”
i love this hotel. def going back.
“Rooms great loved the view”
The hotel is about 30 mins walk from the strip. The staff were helpful and approachable. you get a single nights free entry to hotels night club just for staying which was really good (for the parts that i remember). the hard rock isn't the biggest hotel but it's got it's own unique character just as the other hotels in vegas. the music playing in the casino was a nice variety of sounds. the hotel in my opinion is more the young couples and singles only reason i say this is cuz there was a lovely gal dance on a pole while i was playing blackjack (i lost a lot of money because of that distraction). the room was awsome looked bigger then the picture. room service was prompt and reasonably priced.
“Cool Hotel - Lot's of hot chicks”
Love the music that plays all day long
“Walk to Thomas & Mack”
Staff helpful and sincere. They need auto doors or doorman however. The "Security Guards" watched us struggle to pull open the doors while holding our bags and just turned away. There was a bellmans area but none were waiting to get the door or the bags. Other than that this is a great place to stay. I will go back each time something takes me to the Arena.
“Not AT ALL Impressed”
When I got to my room I was received by the maid talking on her cell phone inside my room and she looked at me like I was intruding in her conversation. The heater in the room was not working so I called guest services and it took the maintenance man 25 mins to get there. I was freezing. The heater was actually disconnected from the control panel so that did not make me comfortable. The bell hop seems just thrilled to be there. The restroom was not really cleaned. I called room service and I was told that they were running 1-2 hours behind. I guess if you are a 20 year old frat boy that do not really care about customer service you would be in the right place.
“Great hotel, location not to great”
Take advantage of their shuttle to the mall or a cab, otherwise it's a pretty good walk to the strip and not the most desirable surroundings. Hotel itself is great.
“Great Hotel, Bad location”
Though the hotel is great, it's half a mile away from the Strip, and there is almost no constructions in between, so it is not a nice place to walk by at night. However, if you own a car, you can go to other hotels in the Strip and park there. Parking is free pretty much everywhere. The pool is great, but it was closed during my stay. Another thing to take into consideration: the hotel has 3 towers: HRH, Casino and a third one. The parking is close to the HRH, but a bit far away from the Casino tower...
“Nice hotel, but they hotel "convenience" charge blows”
I thought I had found a great deal when I booked, but the "convenience" charge that was automatically charged upon check in was lame. I should have just stayed on the strip. I was not impressed with the different shows were being filmed while I stayed. The hotel is very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If they were upfront about all the costs I would have ranked this place higher. This is definitely the place for MTV types and reality show fans.
“So-So Stay at Hard Rock”
I really wanted to love this hotel, but I just didnt. the room was a great size and very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. I was unhappy with the smokey air though in the hotel! Almost all the hotels filter in clean air but the Hard Rock was extremely smokey. I could smell it on my hair and clothes after I left the hotel. The location is pretty far off the strip. I love to walk but this is a lengthy walk and had to cab all other times to the strip. So it makes coming and going more difficult.
