Spend a couple $$ more and stay in a better place!

Posted 04-Mar-2015
Pros: not much...
Cons: it is very outdated and needs a renovation. The staff need to treat ALL customers equally,
Location: I thought it would be a good place to stay do to the location, but as it turns out, we spent more time at the other end of the strip.
check in/out are the same line & is long. You have to pay a resort fee, was told it was $25.00, but it was $28.00, then you have to pay a damage deposit of $50.00 per day and this is charged to your card at check in. NOTHING is free, no comps, no nothing, even wifi is not free, was told it was included in the "resort fees" but when I checked out I was charged $22.50 for "room fees" which were wifi fees I guess. the beds were comfy, but that is about it, the tub dripped horrible, the wallpaper is peeling off, the floor trim is disgusting dirty and the water goes from good hot water to instantly freezing. The only "restaurant" is a upper class steak house where all we seen were well dressed (suits & ties type), the buffet is only open for brunch (closes at 2pm) & is $18.99. The staff are rude and unless your a highroller they could care less about you, (while standing in line to check out, I overheard a couple others saying how they had never felt like a 2nd class citizen before, & that is exactly how I felt). I have been to Vegas many times & I must say, this was my most disappointing trip ever. Do yourself a favor and stay elswhere cause this place is not worth the $$

Very run down, bathroom was filthy, had to have them come up and clean the bath tub.Inside shower curtain was all stiff crinkled and filthy, for a 150 a night? on a weekend you gotta be kidding me. Moved to the Excalibur what a pleasant surprise, very clean.

The Rooms was ok, bathrooms very old, great lokation. We had to pay $28 extra per night, there excuse was that internet and spa was included in the price. When we try to use the wi-fi it was working bearly in the room and spa we had to pay extra $10 per person . Over all very bad hotel!!!

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Everything. Go look at other 4 star hotels and begin to copy their design.
Location: I do not like the prospect of walking 4 blocks for a breakfast that doesn't cost $20.00 per person.
The pillows were like that of a hospital, very puffy and hard. I did not care for the beds or the quality of the room. There should be more facilities in the room, I didn't have a coffee maker in my room. I don't like having to go into the casino to get a coffee. The layout of the hotel is very confusing with not much signage (or proper signage).

My stay at Flammingo

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: the location
Cons: cleanliness, elevators need upgrading, and better heat/or air conditioning.
Location: the location was good because it was central and surrounded by all the other interesting things to do on the strip
Although the hotel was in a central location I was not impressed with the rooms at all. no heat for the first 2 days then we had to put the heat on to cool the room off. the light bulbs were burned out and when I asked the cleaning staff to replace them it was never done.

Recent trip to Vegas

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: Valet service was great - except when the parkade was full.
Cons: Customer service at the front desk. Need to have more staff working, especially when people are arriving during the evening
Location: Location is good and central.
Unbelievable wait lines at check in. Quality of rooms very poor in some areas of the hotel. Definitely in need of a major renovation. It took us 2.5 hours to get checked in. We were already tired from travelling so this is not a great first impression of the facility.

Rooms need to be upgraded

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: The hotel lobby and garden were beautiful
Cons: The rooms need to be upgraded and the staff need to smile more
Location: The location was good, it was in a central location on the strip which is why I initially booked it.
I booked a deluxe high roller room and was greatly disappointed. The room was old and stains and rust were evident in the bathroom.

great location

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: the beds and the location
Cons: the elevators were a scary at times
Location: great location you can really go anywhere
When we checked in the person helping us was very friendly and we ended up upgrading our room. However he said we'll get a better view but in the end our view was of the back of the building. We wondered what the 1st room view was going to. the room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable I loved the hot pink in the room.
