Great location

The location was great and the Go Pool was amazing. The pillows were hard and the elevators were mostly broken. I would return.

Pros: Good location, nice garden area.
Cons: Facility needs a little work especially with lack of working elevators. Check in line was ridiculouslying long at times.

Nice hotel on strip for the cheaper price

Posted 29-Jul-2015
25 minute valet check in, 45 min registration check in, 20 minute for bellman to bring bags to room, bellman punctured a coke can in my bag with electronics, filing a 25 min security report...after all this waitingvtime, we lost our dinner reservations outside of hotel so we were told that CUT Steakhouse would let us order pizza by the slice for our kids. Once we went in and waited 25 to be acknowledged by a waiter with an attitude, the manager told us we couldn't order pizza (that came from the same kitchen) for our kids (and there was NO children menu)! This fine dining steakhouse that served $40 steaks wasn't willing to accommodate, even after the hostess told us they could. The manager had TERRIBLE customer service so we walked out of the restaraunt! A complete waist of our time with hungry children!!! The first few hours at this hotel was VERY disappointing and we finally ate dinner at 9:30 at night!!!

Dont stay here

Posted 28-Jul-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Booked this hotel for the pool. Come to find out that the main pool was 21 and over. I had my 12 year old nephew with me. Also, iron in my room didn't work. Called 6 times over 2:30 hrs. Never got new iron plus I spoke to 3 Supervisors. Horrible Customer service. Check in line was soo long. We waited 90 mins to check in. Just don't stay here.

2 hours to check in.

Posted 28-Jul-2015
We booked online & when we finally found the under ground we found a 2 hour long line at the check in. The pool closes at 6 sooooo early. The bathrooms need updating bad and the maids need to remeber to clean the bathrooms. Need I say more? Stay somewhere else. :)

Great hotel

Posted 28-Jul-2015
Pros: Rooms very clean and spacious. The casino and restaurants were very good.
Cons: Faster check in. After a 10 hour flight and queuing at immigration, luggage, taxi rank etc. the last thing we needed are long queues at the check in
Location: Its ideally located in the center of the strip. Lots going on the immediate ares.
Great holiday and a great hotel. Spent far too much of course, but then again that's what Vegas is built on.

Clean and lower cost

Posted 28-Jul-2015
Pros: Rooms were very clean.
Cons: Elevators waits were very long and not all were working. Would be nice to have conditioner and/or more body soap in the bathroom.
This hotel was fine but it depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for a place that just has the standard amenities, no fancy additions that tends to come with the Vegas experience, then this place will do. It's an older hotel with a pretty diverse crowd. Check in took a very long time but I've experienced that at other hotels on the strip as well. There were also some issues with the elevators a few times that led to an extreme back up in people waiting for elevators. There were about 10 elevators but seems like only a couple were working the whole time. We ended up taking the stairs. The rooms were basic but very clean. The location of the hotel was great, it was right by Caesars, Harrah's, Mirage, Venetian and a reasonable walk from some of the other main hotels. If you're looking for something standard, lower cost, but also very clean and with a great location, then go for this place. You'll end up spending all of your time in other places along the strip anyways.

Zentral, preiswert und ausreichend

Posted 28-Jul-2015
Pros: Zentrale Lage und trotzdem gute Ausstattung zum fairen Preis.
Cons: Nein.
Location: Las Vegas, Am Strip, Zentral gegenüber Caesars Palace.
Wer zentral und trotzdem halbwegs preiswert unterkommen möchte, ist im Flamingo optimal aufgehoben.

Although we enjoyed the hotel and the ambiance of the central part with the ponds and flamingos, the LOUD noise at night was not acceptable. We had a great view on one of the highest floors. However, loud, pounding music was heard until after 3:00am. Amazing that we could hear the music so high up. Not being able to fall asleep until after 3:00 was unacceptable. For that reason alone, I would never stay here again.
