“Value for Money plus”
Clean rooms, great location on the strip directly opposite Ceasers Palace and the Bellagio, affordable places to eat within the casino, great room rates makes for great value for money. Only gripe is the lack of free WiFi, the casino charges $15 per day to access (just walk down to McDonalds).
“reasonable for the price”
Stayed in an unrefurbished room which was shabby but clean. The free continental breakfast had to be bought from the java coffee shop (2 outlets) you charge your breakfast to your room and 9 dollars per person per day is deducted from your bill when you checkout. Join the slot club (photo I.D.required) to receive a booklet with money off vouchers for shows and buffets there is also a 'tickets 4 tonite' booth in the casino next door which gives discounted show tickets. As in most Vegas hotels there are time share touts advertising free show tickets, unfortunately these are at the exit from the elevators and they will pester you every day. We are frequent visitors to vegas so the accommodation wasnt our main priority but if its your first trip I would definitely upgrade to a go room.
“Very Satisfied”
This is my second stay at the Flamingo. The last time I upgraded to a deluxe suite (which was excellent), but this time I chose a standard suite. The room was most satisfactory and the hotel service was very good. The hotel itself is in an excellent location and the price is very good. What more could one want?
“Best Value in Las Vegas”
Free food and drinks from Deli everyday worth 9$. This helped my vegas mental approach and jet lag from day 1cos i never enjoy buying fruit, but when a cup of melon and pineapple with premium coffee are available for free i have to grab it and the required vitamins and feel good factor send me into maximum vegas mode. Fantastic Location. I was very fortunate to land this hotel as it is in the heart of the action and gives me easy accessibility to my nearby poker attractions. Monorail is very near for those however who wish to travel up and down the strip without the need of walking or getting ripped off by taxi drivers. Indifferent food options. I seriously recommend the nearby Denny,s cafe on the strip for top nosh breakfasts. Sometimes a visit to planet daillies in Planet Hollywood or the pyramid cafe in luxor can provide the best choice of food. For Chinese food lovers there is the forgotten little outlet in the food court of excalibur, which most past by without entertaining. Very satisfying meal, and suprisingly much cheaper than buying unfresh pizza slices. Harrahs oyster bar an excellent choice of a food alternative. Toby keiths in nearby Harrahs provide an excellent opportunity for those to sample powerful combo cocktails in a big jug. The nearby Osheas provides excellent value for alcoholic beverages Above all, the safes in room, the excellent cleanliness and no service fees made this my most economical vegas trip yet.
“Can't wait to come back”
I really enjoyed staying at The Flamingo. When we checked in we upgraded to a Go Room. The Go Room was very nice but we wanted something with a bit more space. We called down to the front desk to see if they could do something for us. They upgraded us to a Go Suite at a discounted rate. We were very happy with their customer service. Everyone who works there was so pleasant. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the strip. Next time I come back to Vegas I am definitely staying at The Flamingo!
“Was hoping for more- too many things went wrong..”
Wrong room, glass doors on bathroom, no tub in the first room, had to change rooms, safe didnt work- had to wait around a few times for it to be fixed- losing time from our trip, didnt get the king size bed that we requested.
“very bad hotel”
no clean, very old and bad condition for 3 1/2 star
“Great location for a great price!”
Great location, large room, ample size bathroom. No complaints, and the price was amazing!
“Will stay here anytime”
I've stayed in the deluxe rooms on two different trips now, and they feel like home. I love the location, the center of the strip is the most convienient place to be based. And O'shea's is a great meeting place if your in a large group.
