The room was perfect and exactly what we needed! We had a great balcony view of lots of pretty blossoming trees!

I stayed at Hotel De Soleil during Super Bowl weekend. By the time I checked in the room I had booked was no longer available, so I was upgraded to a suite (sweet!). I originally booked the room because of how cheap it was, but I ended up with an awesome room. Balcony w/ table chairs, full kitchen, living room, huge bathroom, master bedroom, etc. Well worth the money. The room was very clean. The hotel is a small drive away from the strip, but there is a free shuttle that picks up from the Tropicana & one other spot in the north of the strip. No complaints. Extremely satisfied.

“Nice place off the strip”

I go to Vegas every year for business, and long ago got tired of walking through a smoky casino to get to my room. This hotel is off the strip on Tropicana, in a much quieter area. The pool and hot tub were open and clean while I was there, though it was only the middle of February. This is more of a time-share type of property, without daily housekeeping service. Each room has a kitchenette w/ a fridge and microwave, sink and silverware. They are at the beginning of updating all of the rooms with flat screen TVs, nicer linens and counters, etc. One drawback in thin walls. I was in a room that has a door to the next room, and that wall was nearly pointless as far as noise control goes. They had a baby that cried a few times. Didn't bother me much, since I was up early and going to bed late, but it's something I would want to know if I hadn't been there. They also have a tennis court and putting green.

“Great place to stay”

This hotel was a great place to stay. We received friendly service from the staff at the front desk and clean rooms with comfortable beds and nice showers. The rates are VERY reasonable. The kitchenette, propane BBQ grills, mini-golf, and a nice pool are a big plus. Free shuttle to and from Orleans (which is really walking distance) and New York New York Casino on the strip are convinient but be prepared to spend about $25 on a cab ride if you need to get to the Fremont Street Experience downtown. The surrounding area seems to be ok, and the night time security guard patrols the property making this a secure property. We really had a great stay and have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We will definitely stay here every time we come back to Vegas.

“Great Rate for a Suite! So Impress!”

This hotel is really nice and clean. Since they were all out of the room type we booked they gave us a one bedroom suite!!!! very nice jet tub, separate living room and a kitchen i honestly felt like cooking and i don't cook on getaways!!! Great Price!!! This Hotel was a little of the strip you cannot walk to the strip but very close me and my husband just drove like 3minutes to get to strip. We saw a lot of families checking in we see now why very family friendly we didnt even hear the other guest kids in the pool !!!

“Very nice and safe hotel :-)”

We booked this hotel 5 hours before check-in because it wasn`t planed to go to LasVegas this night. But we were very surprised how perfect this hotel was even for this price. I would come back because it was very nice and also safe. The whole night was a officer walking at the whole area.

“Great complex”

Staff were very helpful our only problem was that they didn't know where to buy a map of Nevada and although we didn't expect cleaning every day as we'd already read previous reviews we did expect every 3 days not once in 10 days. Having said that, the room was great, staff were very friendly and the location was perfect for anyone wanting to be near the Strip without being on it. The shuttle was very reliable and the drivers were cheery every day.
