“Excellent budget choice”
You excpect something different from a budget hotel: a certain kind of sleeziness. Not the Claremont! Fresh rooms, friendly people and a breakfast buffet. Excellent value for money.
“Price was right”
You get what you pay for.. We stayed here because it was cheap even on a sat night. However you do get what you pay for. The location was a 10 minute drive to the strip and hotel was not at all fancy, but the employees are super friendly! And they have flat screen TVs and Internet access, Don't get excited about their continental breakfast though- not impressive. For another inexpensive stay, I'd stay here again.
“"Find some where else to stay!!"”
The Hotel was Very hard to find, the staff was very friendly. The hotel is in need of repair. Elevator looked as if it was about to break down any second. when we got to our room all the lamps and fridge was unplugged kinda odd. the bed had ruts in it like it was a used mattress. The furniture was coming apart. the continental breakfast was cereal was in mis-labeled containers. The towels were dirty. the tub faucet ran all the time couldn't get it to turn off. the tempture contol with the water didn't work well. got an iron and ironing board from the front desk that was broken. pool looked like a death trap. Taxis services didn't know where this hotel was located.
“Room OK, Amenities not”
Room was better then expected. Had a nice flat screen TV. Of course it didn't work. Turned on to "please scan for channels" when you did it didn't find any. Contacted front desk, they said they'd have someone look at it the next day. Offered to change rooms but I had such a good internet connection (when I checked in they said on the 2nd floor might not get a good connection, if I didn't come down to the lobby) I opted to go without TV for a night. When I got back in the next day the guy at the front desk said it was news to him that the TV needed to be looked at. And of course the internet was also down. They seem to have infrastructure problems.
“If you're looking for a simple place to crash, then it's o.k..”
Gotta admit, for something that was booked basically at the last minute; the stay was o.k. I honestly can't say I would come back mainly because the annoying noise the bathroom(very clean) made every time you turn the light on. The pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned or even worked on in years. My room was clean, bed was made perfectly. However, could not get online through the hotel's web service. They gave me a password that didn't work, and wouldn't help me when I called the front desk about it. All I got was "It should work..." and that was it. So I gave up on that. As for a place to basically crash and get a few hours sleep at, it's fine, but if you're looking for a hotel to relax and spend time at, this isn't it. Just be aware of what you're getting into if you decide to stay there. If you can find a better hotel(The Artisan next door or even Circus Circus) then you're better off there.
“The Staff were very friendly and helpful”
The hotel seemed to have been undergoing some repairs or renovations, so that being the case, my expectations were greatly exceeded. The staff did all they could to resolve my concerns. I would stay there again as long as my business was within proximity, so I did not need to spend as much money on taxis as I did on this trip. I am positive that once the repairs or renovations are completed, it will be an excellent hotel to stay.
