“KATHLEEN”

OUR PLANE ARRIVED TOO LATE IN THE EVENING TO MAKE A CONNECTION SO WE HAD A 6:15 A.M. FLIGHT THE NEXT DAY. THIS WAS PERFECT FOR A QUICK OVERNIGHT. IT IS AN OLDER HOTEL HOTEL BUT THEY HAVE UPDATED IT & IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.. IT HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED, COMFY BED, PLENTY OF PILLOWS, CLEAN SHOWER & BATHROOM, A T.V. MICROWAVE & FRIDGE THEY ALSO HAVE A PRETTY GOOD "QUICK START" BREAKFAST. WHICH IS INCLUDED. WE'D STAY THERE AGAIN & RECOMMEND IT IT'S MUCH, MUCH CLEANER THAN THE EXCALIBUR!

“We plan to go back”

Having the free shuttle from the airport and to the MGM was great. The driver was so polite and helpful, it was nice to have good service.I was surprised at how quiet our room was. It was so close to the airport I thought the noise would be a problem but I only heard one plane fly over and it was not that loud. Where we live now is about 3 - 4 miles from the airport and we hear more plane noises here then we did there. The breakfast each morning was very good. Waffles, yogurt , fruit, etc.

Area recommendations
We stayed mostly near The Tropicana area and the bus service was great. I would suggest getting a bus schedule. We would purchase the 24 hr ticket for $5.00 or longer if you can get it. the buses run every 15 - 20 min. We visited 3 large malls and the Outlets stores but walked to the malls on the strip. Also we took the bus out to Sam's Town and enjoyed that. We enjoyed our 15 day stay in Las Vegas, and had lots to do and see.

“Same room no matter what you book on expedia.”

Booked a deluxe room because we needed a fridge for milk for the two month old we had with us. Did not get it at check in, only promises that they would try to upgrade us to the room level we paid for. After raising a fuss, they did move us... Only after enough time had passes the milk was no longer safe and we had to dump and get formula. Icing on the cake was that the deluxe room had a broken window that wouldn't close. Service staff is rude, whole hotel feels damp and musty. How is that in the arid desert, I don't know. Gross!

“Short Overnighter”

This is a perfect hotel if you need a night in Vegas in between flights. The beds are super comfortable and surprisingly the room was VERY quiet. 5 minutes to the airport on their free shuttle, no resort fees -- much better than an expensive taxi ride to one of the high priced strip hotels. Employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Neighborhood ok - a couple of chain restaurants a short walk away. Too bad I had an early morning flight and missed breakfast.

Area recommendations
This hotel is perfect is you are just in town for the night. If you want the Vegas night life you need to stay on the strip.

“Nice place to stay”

We stayed at other times at this location. We noticed the new changes and improvements. It is a very convenient location to the airport and car rental agengies. We plan on staying there on our next trip.

“Great Price”

We wanted to stay near the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus where the Professional Bull Riding finals were to be held.

Area recommendations
When in Las Vegas, stay at one of the big hotel/casinos on the "Strip" if you want to sight-see.
Getting around
Buy an all day ticket for the "Hop-On Hop-Off" bus. DO NOT try to drive. Also use the mono-rail and moving sidewalks, they are free.

“We started and finished our trip here”

When we landed at the airport we didn't have long to wait before a shuttle from the hotel arrived to take us there, which was a complimentary service. On our first visit we were given a room which was next to the laundry rooms and ice machine. This made for a noisy stay for a 3 nights but on reflection we weren't in the hotel long and the other services such as the free shuttle, complimenatry breakfast, which was very adequate and always well stocked, more than made up for this. On our second visit we asked for a quiet room which we were given and this was very comfortable and considerably quieter.

Area recommendations
The Stip as it has to be seen to be belived and worth a visit even if you are using Las Vegas as a stop over destination as we were.
Getting around
This hotel provided a very useful shuttle between the airport and the hotel and the hotel and the strip. The shuttle service was very reliable and saved us a few $. I would recommend guests made use of this. We also used the local bus service which was reliable from around the corner of the hotel on Tropicana. This was $2 for a return trip and we visited the North and South Outlet malls.
Shopping
Visit the North and South Outlet Malls for some real bargains.

“Not impressed”

Third floor hallway had terrible moldy smell and room had an off smell too.
