Bally's Hotel - outdated, unfriendly environment

Hotel room is old and smelly. Furniture is old, uncomfortable. Bed is lumpy. Seems like they haven't updated in decades. Extra charges for wifi that is super slow and/or doesn't function. Pool was dirty, had to walk a long ways to get there. Hotel staff were not friendly. They seemed to be bothered when I asked for assistance. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Be prepared to pay additional daily resort fees. $28 per night. A bit much and can't explain what it's for.

Average hotel. INTERNET COONECTION LIMITED ONLY TO 2 GUEST! AND THE SPEED WAS TOO LOW.

My room was clean ...but the rugs are so disgusting ... I think they should put some money into cleaning the rugs or replace them . GROSS .

Bad experience

My husband and I went here for vacation and was put in the Jubilee tower. 24 hours a day there is loud base coming from the music outside which makes sleeping very difficult. We called the front desk to move rooms but was told we couldn't. The next night they moved us to a suite in the other tower and told us it would be a free upgrade. Then found authorization charges on our credit card and went to the front desk to ask about them. They said they were for the suite upgrade which was suppose to be for free. In the suite, there was a jacuzzi tub that didn't work, a toilet that automatically ran every 30 minutes and black mold in the shower. Never received a sorry from any employee and overall was VERY dissatisfied with this hotel. Compared to other hotels on the strip, this is the worst one.

Pros: Clean hotel with an OK room.
Cons: The bed was horrible! I have slept on better couches.
Location: The vegas strip...
The facts... - Staff did nothing to accommodate a huge set of issues we had at the hotel. - During check-in on a long flight I was constantly the hold up with my group of friends because of the staff. - I happen to get the only NEW person working at the front desk and none of her peers or manager lifted a finger when it took the girl 4 times the amount of time to check me in as the two girls beside her. You would think they would wonder what's going on and help but they kept checking in all the other customers. The new girl was horribly slow and had no clue what she was doing! - On the first trip up to the room (top floor, and at the END of the building, AKA LONGEST WALK EVER) when we got to our room we realized that new girl didn't even give us room keys! - Due to the fact the hotel had defective equipment the second and THIRD time I had to go back down stairs to get them to remake the card keys so they would work on our door!!! - I did not ask to be treated special (I kept my mouth closed) and they did NOTHING to make up for my huge workout after flying in on the red eye... They made it seem as if it was completely normal. I would expect them to comp SOMETHING after making my check-in process (the time from walking in to getting to lay in the bed) last around 1hr!!!!!!

Great experience! We did lots of things there and we are happy we visited Las Vegas!

Ballys is situated right across from the Bellagio and in the heart of the strip. Check in took 30mins and check out was 25mins. We encountered extra charges upon checkout which we did not use. Overall a good hotel just could do with more staff at the registration desk.

Room was very updated and roomy. Nice clean big bathroom and very comfy beds.
