Great location in the middle of the strip

Pros: Location
Our room was perfect. It had a nice sitting area and it also had a table with 4 chairs where we could eat.

bad start to vacation

Posted 22-Oct-2014
Pros: The casino floor
Cons: The staff
Location: nice its on the main strip and close to other nice hotels
I purchased a separate room for my dad. asked that our rooms be clos to each other and they were on opposite ends of the floor. My dad then informed me that his room had a used bar of soap in the shower. The lady at checking in was extremely rude to us

Less expensive, less pleasing

Posted 22-Oct-2014
Pros: Proximity to other hotels and restaurants on The Strip, nice pool, free wireless connection.
Cons: Include up front the additional daily "resort fee" that is charged at check-out. (Not noted when we booked the hotel.)
Location: Close to Mandalay Bay's shark exhibit, the High Roller ferris wheel, and bus service to downtown. Car rental will take you to the dessert and canyons.
We stayed at Bally's because other family members were staying there. We had never been to Las Vegas, and were there for a wedding, as well as some exploration of the region, so chose Bally's for convenience as well as price. Had hoped for a nice lobby area to wait for and meet our party, but there is the check-in desk and there is the casino floor. As non-smokers (apparently in the minority in Vegas), we found the atmosphere uncomfortable. We made any and all trips through the hotel as quick as possible. Our best times were outside of the hotel. The Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Valley of Fire state park are within an easy drive with a rental car. Bus service took us to downtown and Fremont St., and Pawn Stars' shop. Could see the fountains at Bellagio, and it was an easy walk to Mirage, where we saw the volcano erupt.

Older hotel on strip

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: deep pool, reasonably priced food court, large room
Cons: resort fee was mandatory but we were only interested in Wi-Fi. Coffee maker in room would have been nice.
We were there two nights on the end of a two-week road trip. The room was large and comfortable. The location is good as it is mid-strip. The staff were friendly. The room was on the 20th floor. This meant good views over the strip but it also meant that without tea/coffee maker in room (we had clearly been spoilt by the other hotels on our trip) it was a long walk to get a cup of coffee. The pool was 12' deep which was a pleasant surprise as most of the strip hotels now seem limited to about 3'.

Fairly nice hotel

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Heart of the strip
Cons: Chair in room needs replaced
Location: LinQ next door
The chair in my room was worn down on the edges. There was no refrigerator in my room, I am diabetic, so I had to request a refrigerator for my insulin. The view of the strip was okay.

Had to stay here.

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Location was ok if you can stand the loud music playing all night
Cons: Get rid of the smell.
Was here for a Medical Conference. 7AM to 7PM, with a 1hr lunch and minimal breaks. With a conference so long it really isn't practical staying at another location[I've done that before and it doesn't work well]. Anyway, check in went smooth. I had a Jubilee Suite. It was spacious with a nice, large Jacuzzi tub. Nice view as well. Terrible smell which I would later realize was pervasive. It was on the entire floor[maybe the whole tower - I didn't go on the other floors]. House keeping came up and sprayed after about 20mins. Minimal improvement. Sleeping was very difficult secondary to the adjacent nightclub. Very Loud. I asked for a quite room. The check in clerk told me the tower was surrounded by 2 loud night clubs and there were no quite rooms. Hated my stay. I suspected I wouldn't like it based on the other reviews but hoped it would be more serviceable than it was. The few days before the conference I stayed at the Aria. Right now I'm at the MGM Signature Suites. Aria was nice, I would recommend. I am at a 1bdr suite at the Signature Suites and am totally satisfied. I think it's been my favorite accomodation in LV, though my GF likes Palazzo better. Hope this honest review is helpful. I would rec avoiding Bally's like the plague and gave the same feedback to the conference folk.

Great pool

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Noise in the lifts
Location: Eiffel tower rest at night. Mon ami Gabi is great for breakfast. Accross the street from Bellagio and the Linq. Mandalay bay's Border Grill for brunch
Avoid the jubilee rooms number 04 as they are too close to the lifts, lifts are extremelly noisy. I got that one but hotel staff promply arranged the new room. Amazing location. Very comfy. Great deals.

Nice hotel

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything. Ideally located on the strip
Cons: Nothing to think of
Location: Due to ideal location on the strip, it's easy to get to many of the other hotels nearby
Although an old hotel it was spotlessly clean. All the staff were very helpfull

Nice hotel right in the middle of the Strip

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Bally's is so close to everything...Bellagio, Caesars, Paris, Flamingo, etc. and our room was fabulous. We upgraded and added a Jacuzzi spa (right in the middle of the room) for an extra $50/night and it was sooooo worth it, especially if you are there with your romantic significant other (like me) or looking to pick one up!
