The Pasianna has seen better days. It is in the heart of a tourist apartment belt, air-con costs extra, facilities are limited and it is a bit of a walk to the nearest shops. Fine for a day or so coming into or leaving Larnaca but certainly not a place for long term stays as a solo traveller. Beach loving families or groups could find it reasonable value. Best feature is a welcoming manager who drove to the airport when I couldn't find the hotel from the directions given.

Lovely friendly staff and the reception, bar and pool area lovely clean and tidy. Room was basic and the kitchen area in need of an update it also had ants, however bathroom looked newly refurbished. Bedroom had air conditioning which was great as it was needed. The room had own mop and brush and it was left to me to clean the floors and bathroom was only cleaned by me. Bins seemed to be changed daily. 1st week towels were changed after 5 days but there after every other day and the bed linen not changed for the two weeks (I know this as I made the beds each day). For the money it was an ok place to stay (you get what you pay for) but very disappointed with the cleaning and change of linen in the rooms.
The walk into Larnaca took us about 25 mins (ok as long as the sun is not out, in the sunshine it was a very hot and sweaty walk), Makenzie beach was about 5 mins away. Overall we had a fab holiday and didn't let the little things get us down. If we were to go back to Larnaca we would not return to the Sea and Lake as we would like to be more central.
We enjoyed our stay after a minor hiccup that was rectified by the lovely staff at the hotel. We just had B&B board and the breakfast variety was good. The hotel was clean, close to the beach, restaurants and bars. A good 20 minutes walk to the Finikoudes which is the town centre bursting with a great atmosphere. A 5 minute walk to Mackenzie Beach where there were water sports, more places to eat and child friendly beaches. Overall a fantastic 10 day stay in Cyprus.

The hotel was the cheapest we could find, so we weren't expecting anything too flash. That said, the place was probably a bit better than expected. We only really have two problems with the hotel. The first was that being non-smokers we found the ever present smell of stale smoke a little hard to take. The other was that the beds were VERY firm and just about cripled us. At breakfast the other guests didn't seem to be sufferening as we were, so it may just be us. If you have no problems with a firm bed, I wouldn't let this put you off.
Breakfast, included in the price, was very basic, but adequate.
All in all, the hotel wasn't bad, but definitely one for people a little younger and more adventurous than we are.

This was our headquarters for the week we spent in Cyprus. We enjoy it a lot because the room was clean, staff was helpful and location isn't that bad as in Larnaca, any location is under 30 minutes by foot to the central area.
The hotel was amazingly inexpensive, I can't really understand why. The conditions are similar to a youth hostel, except you get your own room. The breakfast is really basic, almost not worth mentioning. But the price is so low that you can skip it without flinching. At the time of our stay the Russian national bicycle team was using the place as their apartment. I was hesitant at first, we stayed there on two separate occasions and will certainly go back. A basic hotel, less than half the price of other places we stayed, and there weren't any real minuses, unless someone is looking for the comfort and feeling of something more.

The Livadhiotis City Hotel is located just a few minutes from the beach. Many restaurants, and bars to choose from nearby. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside there is Wi-Fi in the lobby area but not in the rooms. Nice variety of breakfast. Front facing rooms are nicer than the back of the hotel, however it can get a bit noisy with cars going past. We had a lovely, relaxing time and look forward to staying there again. We definately recommend this hotel.
