“Needs a bit of tweeking”

First of all the good points :- Clean comfortable rooms that are cleaned every day, comfortable sunbeds, brilliant breakfast, great umbrella sun shades, right on the beach, close to all amenties and bars, good pool, excellent air/con in rooms, good for all ages. Bad points :- Charge for TV remote (if you can't live without the TV), charge for mini fridge (but supermarket 2 minutes walk away with fridges full of water, soft drinks and booze), food not replenished in evening buffet meal until asked, hotel toilets unclean (not in rooms), non resident Cypriots allowed to use the sunbeds and facilities at weekends (they are also very loud), this is very annoying, surly reception staff, no comment cards or visitors book to be able to leave comments or gripes. Still had a very good time and would recommend to our friends and family.

Area recommendations
Protaras is an excellent area for a Cyprus holiday
What to pack
High factor sun cream is a must. I didn't get off SPF 15 all week but still burnt (usually I use a max of SPF 10). Holiday in July.
Events and shows
10 Euros for a 2 1/2 hour boat trip from Fig Tree Bay was excellent value
