“Best Hotel Yet”
The hotel was quiet, clean, had all facilities, the food was excellent, they could not do enough to please. There was entertainment laid on and the staff were the best. The hotel manager even put a bottle of champagne in my room on my birthday (I have no idea how they knew it was my birthday). The private beach was wonderful, clean and very convenient. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.
“A plesant stay”
The hotel had all the facilities and features you wold expect to find, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing and the service was good. The hotel is quite often used for weddings and there was at least one a day while we was there. The hotel is a bit isolated from nearby services but a short 10 min walk is all it takes, the taxis are not to bad, protaras and ayia napa are a reasonable fair away. The food was good caters to everyone with a few traditional items (but if your after something more traditional try the local resteraunts). All in all we had a good holiday.
“Will never go back. I do NOT recomend it.”
See my comments above. I would recomend Expedia to drop it from their list.
“Rubbish”
This hotel claims to be 4* with 5* facilities but is more like a 2*! The beds were really hard, electrical equipment (including the hairdryer) didnt work, we ordered room service one day and the food was revolting, the breakfast is gross (fried chips and onions!). Internet was 6euros an hour and no printing available. The description on here does not make it clear that it is a resort for package holidays like First Choice and Thompson and the like, so while it bills itself as family friendly it doesnt prepare you that is caters solely for families, while we were there staff had to repeatedly tell off teens who thought it would be funny to scream and smash glass in the basement! If you want to experience Cypriot culture dont stay in Protaris, British expats everywhere, food comes with chips, theres even a fake wetherspoons called WItherspoons! We hated the hotel so much that we checked out early, one receptionist very pleasant, the other spoke to her in Greek (why she didnt speak to us as she spoke english to me before I dont know) to tell the nice one to tell us theres no refund. We just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. Do not stay there, nice small private beach, but otherwise is just rubbish! Weve stayed in 3* hotels before that provided much more then the Golden Coast ever did.
“Get a Hire Car”
The hotel is a 2-3 of kilometres north of Protaras and is relatively isolated on a quiet sheltered bay next to the fishing shelter. Service good, the hotel facilities are good, meals were adequate, nice breakfast outside, lunch by the pool expensive, dinner expensive and not that good. Not too many places open nearby offering alternative dining but it was October. Nice pool, plenty of sunbeds, the adjacent sheltered beach was great for swimming. I would reccomend bed and breakfast as long as you hire a car to give you more choice of restaurants at night. Taxis into Protaras are expensive 8 to 10 euros and Agia Nappa 15 to 20 euros or there are infrequent buses. A couple of weddings to watch most days. All in all I enjoyed staying there and would probably go again.
“Couple 30 ans”
