“Good basic appartment”

Accomodation was quite basic but then it was also cheap. Very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Beware it is in the centre of town and we had difficulty finding it. Do not rely on position on Googlemaps! 100yards from prom and amongst the shops. Parking available but may be difficult if busy. We had to extend our stay due to weather problems and they were very accomodating.

“A true diasappointment”

We were aware that the accomodation was very reasonably priced. We have holidayed for many years in Larnace so know the area well. The location is great for us, close to the beech but also lively and a town as opposed to somewhere remote,. The apartments were a disappontment, eventhough it was reasonably priced i sould still expect the facilities to be appropriate. The fridge was rusty and did not work properly. The mattress was very worn and lumpy. The accomodation was however clean, but there was no power to the water flow in the shower. It felt like the propert had been built about 20 years ago and has not been maintained since. the staff on reception were not friendly or helpful. Also they boast free WiFi, this actually did not work the whole time that we were there. The accomodation was billed as one bedroom. There was a kitchen and bedroom, i would have expected a lounge area as part of the kitchen and this was not the case. I have had many holidays boopked through Expedia and have been pleased with all of them. this by far was the most disappointing of the accomodation that i have stayed at. whilst I love Larnace and will return it certainly will not be to the Petrou Apartments.

“what you get is what you paid for”

I have been recently travelling to Cyprus and stayed at the PETROU Bros apartments This not my first stay to an aprtament hotel in Cyprus so I would say this is the average category you may get for your money .On the whole th eplace is okay , the location is quite excellent near the main promenada nad the beach and downtown as well . The place is quite noisy during the night time and would definetly not recomment this for families with children . Moreover the plumbing is quite old and would require a renewal . The cleanliness is not so bad except the hair on the floor which appear they cannot always succeed to remove . Also the fridge did not freeze properly and had a remnant smell inherited from the previous dwellers which made him more useful for beer than for food. However , the ratio price /quality is quite good and despite the small disadvantages I think it really worth to givi it a try !

“Budget hotel”

I've stayed here before and the hotel is value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms clean, but basic. I spent a couple of days in another hotel more expensive, more stars and less facilities. Petrou is very close to the beach,restaurants & shops. But don't even consider the sun terrace. It should come off the description. Sunbeds shabby, broken and filthy so worth the 2 minutes walk to the beach

“not impressive”

location too noisy, terrible room if no AC is available, .... on the other hand, rooms are very big and contain all you need

“PETRO BROS HOTEL”

First they dont have service on Sunday or bank holiday so my room was dirty for 2 days as no one around to clean it. second tab in the bath room is broken toilet does not flash

“Used hotel twice and happy to use again.”

Although a bit noisey at night over the weekend is situated in the centre of Larnaca and is staffed by very friendly people whom are curtious and happy to help. Not much you can do about the loss of the sea view by new construction and local youths driving outside of an evening. Overall the hotel satisfies its objective of a comfortable base from which to explore Cyprus.

Great town location, central to everything you need, rooms clean, the staff friendly and helpfull. Would stay again.

Very Helpful and friendly staff, clean, centrally located, near bars and restaurants and 5min short walk to the main Promenade. Only negative is the noise from the streets as the sound proofing could be better, bring some ear plugs and you'll be fine! I would definitely go back again if wanting a budget stay in Larnaca!
