“Last minute espcape to Cyprus”
Lordos is a nice older beachfront hotel. S et outside of the city, but with a good variety of restaurants near by. Be sure to visit The Oasis Bar across the road from the hotel... very friendly place to hang out for dinks and meet some locals. Breakfast at the hotel is amazing. Pools are nice and clean.. although as we were there mid October, it would have been nice if they were heated a bit...a tad cold to go swimming! The indoor pool and jacuzzi was not heated... unfortunately. The sauna and steam room were great. Guest rooms are smaller.. but clean, and the beds were decent enough.
“Palm beach hotel”
I was there with my wife and son ,this hotel is as maximum two star hotel It was very ban experience for my family. Expedia should keep this hotel out of service and very cheap hotels. Thanks
“Satisfactory”
The hotel is located about 7 to 10kms from town. There is a bus service that does run quite frequently during the week which stops right out the front of the hotel - the sunday service is not as good (the hotel does have timetables for the bus). Both the indoor and outdoor pool are quite good. A good variety of food at breakfast. The food in the restaurants and in-room dining were quite good. Hotel is also right on the beach.
“Great Vacation!”
It was a great vacation. Take the tours offered because that makes seeing the island much easier and is worth the money.
“Great except the breakfasts”
The only issue with the holiday was the breakfasts at the hotel were very poor with the same fruit every day and the fruit was a little hard. The eggs especially fried eggs were old and rubbery no matter what time we went to breakfast. In general everything else was very good.
“Would recommend to anyone”
This is an excellent hotel. Location is perfect. Staff are always friendly. Food is very high quality. This was our fourth visit to this hotel and we'll be using the same one next time.
“Great visit”
Have used the hotel before went to visit family over there and the hotel are great at letting them join us and use all the facilities Would go again if we wanted a short break but as the family are moving back very unlikley to go again.
“Very friendly staff but hotel is not what we expected”
The hotel was further out of Larnaca than we wanted (but thats our fault). The room was well furnished and clean but very very hot as it received the full sun and the aircon couldnt cope. Breakfast was poor with limited fruit and stale bread on the 3 days we were there and the coffee was horrible. We never had dinner at the hotel so I cant comment. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always smiling and going out of their way. However, when we return to Cyprus we will stay elsewhere
“Liked the hotel, but not the locality”
The hotel is good and worth its four star rating, with reasonably sized rooms, each of which has an angled balcony to give a view of the sea. There is an extensive pool and sitting area giving onto the beach. The only drawback with the hotel itself was that, in mid-March, the air-conditioning system had not been started, and the room was hot at night. The hotel is one of a group of three similar properties alongside the beach, with bars and restaurants opposite, but the rest of the area has a run-down appearance, with some derelict hotels and restaurants. Larnaka town, and other facilities, are a drive away. Fine if you are content to stay in and around the hotel, or use it as a base for touring the island, but not so good for strolling the local area.
“Good hotel”
Good hotel in a nice beach setting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant and breakfast were also good.
