“Perfect place to relax”

the air condiction was bad very hott in room no room to move around .
“5 Star this is NOT.”
It's a room with a view and running water, not much else. The bed was like sleeping on a brick, the air conditioner barely kept the room below 80 degrees, the rest of the inside of the hotel is unbearably hot unless you find a location near an antiquated wall a/c unit, internet is only available in the lobby and it dropped repeatedly. Most of the staff was aloof and unhelpful, as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to come to their country for our holiday. The location, food, pool and beach were wonderful. There was a family friendly atmosphere.
“Not that Impressed.....”
I decided that this hotel was the best on in Protaras because it was listed as a 5 star hotel. Whilst the actual fabric of the building might be impressive and 5 star, the rooms, service and food most certainly are not. I have stayed in Protaras 3 times over the past year each time at a different hotel and all I can say is that there is little to choose between them despite the different star rating of this one over the other two.

Das Servicepersonal im Restaurant sehr nett. Das Dinner-Buffet am Abend lobenswert, dafür die Auswahl beim Frühstück sehr mager und keine Abwechslung. Sauberkeit im Zimmer könnte besser sein. Im Vergleich zu anderen 5-Sterne Anlagen, kann das Hotel nicht mithalten.
“Es war in Ordnung”
Das Hotel und die Einrichtung sind schon etwas älter, aber im großen ganzen ordentlich und gepflegt. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgesprochen gut, unmittelbar am Strand. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten dort "Halbpension" gebucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, das Abendessen war für unseren Geschmack zu sehr englisch ausgerichtet, wir haben schon besser gegessen.
