“Cheap and good service.”

Stayed at the hotel for 2 days. Was looking for a cheap hotel and was surpriced by the room size, friendly personel, breakfast and location. Only room for improvements was no towel service for the pool. Overall a very good experience for a budget hotel.

“Another lovely stay”

at the Alva hotel, which is very well placed for Fig Tree Bay. The hotel is clean, comfortable & the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I've always said I wouldn't keep returning to the same resort but this was our 3rd straight visit and our second stay in a row at the Alva. It's just hard to find somewhere that can beat it. Protaras now has varied restaurants (Nicolas Taverna & Olympus by far the best for authentic greek food & hospitality) and bars, which caters more for families and couples etc rather than the Ayia Napa type crowd. cannot wait until our next visit.

“Does the Job”

My wife, teenage daughter & I have just spent two weeks at the Alva. We knew the location of the hotel from previous visits to Protaras & decided to book here as it's a very short walk to Fig Tree Bay. The welcome is very hospitable from all the staff throughout the hotel. The apartments are more than adequate considering its 3 star status. Somewhere clean to shower, get ready & sleep in comfort. You do get some noise from the strip but it's in the background, not loud enough to keep you awake. They could do with changing towels a little more often & I would recommend you pre book late checkout as the shower room downstairs is like a sauna, so you end up needing another shower by the time you have attempted to dry yourself. Apart from those couple of gripes the overall stay was fine & would not dissuade anyone from staying here as its a great price for it's close proximity to a wonderful beach and all the shops, restaurants etc....
