“VEry Clean and Comfortable”

The room was spotless! The pool area super nice. A splash mushroom shaped fountain was so much fun for my 4-year-old. The hot tub was nice and hot. Super friendly hotel staff. Yummy cookies at check-in! Really great stay!

“Comfortable rooms near University of Wyoming campus”

My husband and I plus our two adults sons and their friends stayed here (3 rooms) recently during a vacation through Montana and Wyoming. Everyone was impressed by the size and comfort of the rooms. The beds were adjustable for firmness/softness, and the rooms were quiet. The hotel is adjacent to the UW conference center and at the edge of campus, a couple of miles from downtown. We found it a convenient place from which to explore the area, and the front desk provided maps to attractions on campus.

Area recommendations

We loved the historic downtown, a few miles away from the hotel. The older buildings added to the character, and there was a reasonable selection of restaurants, including the only vegetarian restaurant in the entire state of Wyoming.

Must see

The Geology Museum at the University of Wyoming. A good collection of dinosaurs, and a fascinating history of paleontology dating from the earliest days of the discoveries not far from campus.

Dining

Sweet Melissa's is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant that is a refreshing change to the customary fare in Wyoming! All of us enjoyed the inspired menu, even the meat-eaters among us.

“This is definitely a hotel that I would recommend and stay at on future trips.”

The hotel staff is awesome. Arriving without luggage, because it missed my flight, the hotel staff provided me with the necessary toiletries, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. to make the start of my stay comfortable. Their on premisses restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend their vegetarian deep dish pizza. But a warning, you have to have at least one possibly two other people to eat it all. It's huge!

Area recommendations

University of Wyoming. It's a beautiful campus. The entire town of Laramie, WY is a really friendly town.

When to go

I come from a warm climate so I would definitely recommend visiting from late May through early September.

Must see

There is a Territorial Prison from the past that I would recommend if you like history.

“Great Location”

When we arrived, there were fresh cookies waiting on the counter. The check in person was very friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable. I loved the fluffy white comforters on the beds. My only complaint would be the service at the restaurant at breakfast. That aside, this was a really nice hotel with a great location.

“We loved it!”

We were attending a graduation in Laramie and greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The pool and hot tub were nice and the fitness room was bright and had plenty of fitness equipment. We stayed in a junior suite and had plenty of room. We would definitely go back.

“LOVE the Hilton, will go back!”

Everything is a positive experience at the Hilton Garden Inn, even the cookies that come out fresh and hot! YUMM. the workout room with the pool and hot tub were used by us and we like the location. We look forward to cheering on the cowboys and our son #63 this fall.
