“worth the cost”

I felt my stay was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast options were good, the pool was great to have as an option. Everything was clean. It was great to have a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Overall, the Best Western was a great place to stay.

“Disappointed”

We were quite disappointed with our stay. Got a great rate, but should have paid the extra to stay where we had before. Matress and pillows were totally uncomfortable. Shower curtain was very dirty along bottom edge with possible mildew. Breakfast bar was pretty bleak: cold cereal, doughnuts, and a waffle maker. On the positive side, place was easy to find, front desk attendant was friendly and helpful.

“Clean and comfortable”

Very clean and well maintained hotel with good staff who put themselves out to tend your needs. located on the edge of town just off highway easy to locate and quiet possition ample continental breakfast to set you on your way

The hotel was clean and the room was nice. They accepted dogs which was great!

“Good price, good room”

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was pretty small but still adequate. Would definitely recommend this Best Western.

“Good, clean, and decent pool for kids”

The BW was just as I expected. The rooms were clean, and relatively modern. They were pretty spacious and include a mini-fridge and microwave, which I appreciated. The rooms were clean and the pool area was fine. It is right off of I-80, just a 5-10 minute drive to the older section of downtown Laramie where our favorite restaurants and coffee shops are.

“Not impressed”

Staff was unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I was checking in as she was trying to watch tv. We were travelling with a dog (25lb beagle), and after taking him for his morning walk, I went into the breakfast room to grab a cup of coffee to take up to my room. I had checked and there weren't any signs saying "no dogs" in the room. I got literally yelled at by a hotel staff member in front of several other guests. Quite embarrassing. I tried to explain that I was just getting a cup of coffee and was leaving and he continued to yell at me. I understand not everyone is a dog person, but he was leashed, sitting politely right next to me, and is a registered good canine citizen. Don't believe them when they say dog friendly! Will not be returning.

“Laramie--okay”

Breakfast was not up to par with other Best Westerns I have stayed in. Venue was limited and I had to ask for staff to replenish items before I could have breakfast. No assistance in quieting noisey guests on my floor. Staff always gave an excuse that such as "it's not 10pm yet" or "it will be 7am in an hour and I think they are getting ready to leave". Both nights there were groups in various rooms on my floor that kept going between rooms and letting the doors SLAM shut and yelling up and down the hall.--Maintenance could reduce the force setting on the door closures so they did not shut so forcably; this would help some. Generally, I was disappointed in the staff's lack of addressing the noise issue. (I was in Laramie to visit family and to deal with a very emotional family issue. I believe asking patrons to be more considerate at 9pm and early morning was not unreasonable no matter what another patron's reason for staying is. The noise was really excessive the second night.) Also, front desk staff often was not available and had to wait up 15 minutes at times.
