Really good option!
Check in was good although the room didn’t have A/C operable at first. To be fair this was rectified quickly. The view from room 35 was incredible over the sea! The beds are very hard but this is fairly standard for the accommodation in my experience. Would recommend

Amazing quiet location
Amazing location. Quiet complex with spacious villas with own terrace and sun loungers. Friendly helpful staff. Food is ok but can be repetitive. Really like this place as we enjoy the coastal walk into playa Blanca.

Liked the patio that was at the properry and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have hoped but apartments were clean and large. Perfect for a family break.

Great vilas beautiful scenery. Its not very lively but we dint want that so was perfect. We met a few families that were staying there and had nothing to do, so my advice is rent a car if you want to stay here and venture out. We covered the whole island, it only takes a hour to to drive right across litterly. The food was great. Amazing walks, close to everything if you have a car, cant stress this enough get a car!. Great holiday we dint want to come home.

Relaxing location.
Just got back from the Coral Beach and absolutely loved our stay. The complex is exceptionally clean and well looked after. We were half board and found that it suited us. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The chill out bar was perfect for watching the sun set and the hotels location is perfect if you want a relaxing quiet break. If you are looking for a lively hotel with activities and entertainment morning noon and night this may not be the place for you. But we will be returning in the next few months, loved it.

I also would like to say that I aprreciate the time you have taken to share you review here, as all reviews are very important to us. However, I am sorry to read that our hotel did not quite meet your expectations and if you permit me I would like to comment a couple of the issues that you have mentioned. The question about the plugs in the sink/bathtub and the size of the hot water boiler I would like to comment that this is due to the water situation on the island. As you know we don't have a large water supply and therefore have to take care of the water consumption. Plugs are available at the guests requests and will be given when asked for, this is so that we can inform our guests and make them aware of the situation. The size of the water boiler is for the same reason. I hope that you now have a better idea of the reasons behind this. Regarding the Halfboard conditions, at breakfast all the drinks are included also te and coffee, I am sorry if you were not correctly informed of this. Lastly the washing cloths for the kitchen are available, however as the great majority of our guests are on All Inclusive basis these are not standard in the rooms but can be requested at the reception at any time. I hope I have been able to shed some light on the few issues that you have mentioned. I would like to wish you and your family all the best, and remain with kind regards. Lovely hotel, best sunset we have ever seen.
Came to this hotel on a last minute term time getaway. Family of 5 including 2ch and 1 inf, we wanted a beach holiday with gauranteed sun. I was in two minds after reading reviews (like you would do, trying a new place with children). Lets put it this way, if we had judged the hotel off the reviews we would never of booked. Lovely staff, Lovely layout, one of the best hotels situated to see an amazing sunset. Our children loved it. Understanding its not for everyone and some negative reviews stated about how far out the hotel was from Playa Blanca Centre. We did not find this a problem at all, of course we opted for taxi transfers and decided to hire a car for half our stay (definatley recommended) due to our young children, but this was not to say that walking was definatly able to do. We went AL, expecting the children to eat everything they saw (their at that age). Wished we had gone just BB as we found that we ate out quite bit just due to the lovely resturants in the centre and marina. The hotel food was lovely, sometimes repetative but something for everyone. My son has a cow milk allergy, there was no problem at all, we made the staff aware and they even cooked special food for him, going above and beyond than some places we've been.

Such a shame!
The peace and quiet, the position of the hotel and the accommodation were all just great but the the staff could not cope and were over worked. Never have I been to an all inclusive resort where I have had to clear a table and lay it myself before dining, breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was shocking and the restaurant was dirty as a result because the staff were constantly fighting fire - this made them grumpy and tired and not at all welcoming. One waitress was pregnant and run off her feet doing long shifts. The food was fine, but your initial experience almost put you off.

Terribke staff, quiet location
The staff were extremely rude in particular the manager. The food was very minimal in terms of the range & had to eat out 3/5 nights. The room itself was lovely however there was nothing in the area of the hotel at all & it is a minimum of one hour walk to playa Blanca or 6-7 euros in a taxi. I would never normally write a review however would not stay here again.

Budget, behind the times hotel
Budget all the way. Cold, bland food. Damp room, damp bed, hard mattress. Poor room facilities. 'All inclusive joke' - extremely low quality drinks, meals always cold, no bottled water, not enough covers in the restaurant - we needed to wait for a table most days. Last 2 days of our holiday we gave up and ate out for all meals. A terrible, terrible hotel, if you're considering staying here.....don't!!!

Overall good!
Stayed here for 5 days last week, loved the complex. Beautiful views of the sea and lovely grounds. Restaurant and bar staff really good. First time all inclusive and menu options were varied, although food wasn't piping hot. Only downside for me was the bed was quite hard so can't say I had a decent night's sleep. The chargeable WIFI was limited to one device. Complex is not within walking distance of the main part of Playa Branca. We hired a moped and car for our stay. Island is very easy to get around with just the road signs for navigation. If ever lost just follow the coast! To conclude I would stay here again.

hotel to far from centre
when we booked this hotel we were not aware just how far it was from the hub of things being some 3.5 miles from Flamingo beach.Also we were half board and were astonished that tea coffee and water we had to buy to accompany our breakfast.Of course we expected to buy wine etc but commodities such as tea coffee and WATER we found very mean. Not a place for winter holidays as there isn't a decent sized lounge bar for evenings just a Chill Out area which I can say definitely chilled us out-freezing.In summer I would expect it to "come to life" but not a winter venue. So windy as it is set in a very open aspect. Studio at least had a kitchen but very very sparsely kitted out as I believe the management would prefer you not to use it.Absolutely no sink or bath plugs to be found but I insisted in having these supplied. Not enough hot water to bath so showering was our only option. Good taxi service but does cost 5.5 euros into the centre.We did walk sometimes but not in evening as dark and cold.it was quiet Would I visit it again-most likely not.

We would like to coment each view of your full opinion: Normaly the resort is very quiet, even during summer, where you can find more people by the pool or Chill Out area, but chilling out and relaxing themselves. Ubication: yes, we are not into the center, so this is the first reason because is very nice hotel to relax. Concerning drinks during breakfast, normaly all our clients are in all inclusive plan, we want to improve in all our services, so we are studying this point with managers. Fortunately, we used to have very nice weather even during winter, we are very sad you spend your holidays with us during cold days. Anyway we have The Hits Bar in front of reception which is open every nights and you can drink our excellents cocktails in a warm weather because it is indoor. Chris, we would like to have the oportunity to see you again in the VIK Club Coral Beach to offer you a better stay with us ¡And I wish with nice weather! Very relaxing, peaceful holiday
Spacious villas with a small patio which gets the sun most of the day. Most villas have two sun loungers so no need to rush round to the pool to get a sunbed. Hotel complex is very casual. Really is set up for you to have a very relaxing holiday. Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Also, never been on a holiday where the staff appeared very laid back and happy. This is not to say that the staff did not do their jobs; they were very efficient.

Very nice resort, even nicer in person. Apartments a really comfy and spacious, and the stuff is really keen to help you out. Very close to one of the best beach of the island, Playa Flamingo is less than 5 minutes by car.

Potential for 4+ stars
We have stayed at this hotel many times, this was the first time our experience was less pleasurable than before. We detected a reduction in standards generally (food variety, room features, number of staff etc) - nothing huge but collectively it left us with a feeling that the hotel had made cutbacks. We were redirected to another hotel on our arrival night with no notice given. Although handled well on the evening it left us very let down and therefore did not get our stay off to a good start. The wifi is expensive and cannot handle multiple devices.

Had read issues in earlier reviews around room availability but we had no problems at all. We knew the hotel was around 2 miles from Playa Blanca and hired a car - definitely a worthwhile move. Food / all inclusive options were excellent and catering facilities were very good. Complex was nicely laid out and apartment was very spacious. On the downside free WIFI was poor and we had to use the sofa cushions as an extra bed as only a double and two twins were provided despite our booking for 5 people. I could understand why the extra bed was missed on our arrival but was disappointed that the staff did not do more to resolve the issue once we raised it.

Good hotel in a quiet location
We enjoyed just about everything. The food was good with plenty of variation and the drinks available in the all inclusive offered good options. The accommodation is in 2 bedroomed bungalows and the lounge and bedrooms are a very good size. The bathroom comes with a shower over the bath and a bidet which I am sure many visitors will find useful. The small kitchen is equipped with a kettle, microwave and 2 burner hob. The pool area has toddler size pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Best 3* around!!!
We arrived early before our check in and we got lunch. We went to check in and to be told by Philippe there was no room for us as there was maintenance work going on. So he offered us either transferring to another hotel and they would pay or go to their villa with private pool. We couldn't believe how lovely it was we stayed in the villa. I cant praise the whole hotel members enough!! Phillipe and Isabel are soo lovely they couldn't do enough for us. Manuel and Rafel in the restaurant were superb also, it was my birthday while I was there and they got me a plate full of cakes and sang happy birthday in Spanish. Thank you all soo much :)

Hotel off the beaten track.
Hotel located at far end of Playa Blanca, need more road signage instructions for the traveller making their own way to the Hotel especially after dark. The accommodation at this hotel, is very good,clean and large spacious lounge/kitchen area, outside utility area, central bathroom, best of all, 2 seperate spacious bedrooms, the only reason we booked this hotel,. Food acceptable, plenty of it, and reasonable choices. Staff, from reception to house keeping,waiters, waitresses and bar staff, all very efficient and friendly, and helpful. Only downside, not enough staff to generate a good amount of variable evening entertainment,all being left to Stefi, and being so far from central Playa Blanca, a car is a must, at least a good hours walk from the hotel to central Playa Blanca.Although the local bus offers great value at 1.30 euros for how ever far you want to go, be it one stop or 10. Minor irritation, pool side music mind numbingly BORING!!!! Get that sorted, and this would be the best value for money hotel in Playa Blanca.

Never got to stay here moved to another hotel
I had read other reviews about being moved to another hotel but felt that in January 2014 we would not be moved to another hotel. Wrong. We were told that there had been a problem and they could accommodate us but they would move us t the Royal Monica far better hotel than coral beach and we could have a suite. I explained that we wished for two bedrooms as my wife is recovering from a chest infection and sometime coughed a lot during the night. I was told we have arranged for a suite but the gentleman refused to confirm that the suite had two bedrooms. It did not it had a bedroom and a sofa bed. The suite was large but did not have a kettle in the room, unlike a villa. If you check out the royal Monica and don not fancy it and decide on the coral beach be aware you may well wind up at the Royal Monica

Technical prob with computer apparently so no room
We arrived to be told that due to a technical problem with the computer they knew we were coming but there was no room allocated and they were fully booked!! We were offered a better suite at a sister hotel (different chain!) Hotel Monica just down the road. A taxi was called for us and a 5 min drive later we arrived at Hotel Monica. Judging by comments on Trip Advisor have realised that this wasn't a one-off but it would seem we had a lucky escape. Would recommend Hotel Monica though!! They had obviously dealt with other clients arriving from Coral Beach Hotel so would assume this was not a one-off.

A relaxing experience in a quiet location. Ideal if you want a relaxing holiday in the sun. There isn't much entertainment just a few activities in the day from the lovely animation lady Gemma. A bar is open at 9.00pm with music and some entertainment, a quiz or karaoke nothing special. However Gemma made it fun!!! It was enough for us in a big group of friends and family. Teenagers may get bored though at this hotel. The food is good we always found something we liked and the restaurant is very clean and tidy. The staff look very smart in white shirts and beige trousers. They Sometimes clear your plates a little too quickly but I'd rather this than plates left on tables!! The villas are lovely and spacious and clean. We would return to this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Well done Coral Beach!

The hotel is fine and the staff is friendly. The main problem with the hotel, or at least with my villa (#37) is that the bathroom smell really bad most of the time. Also, it is a problem that towels are not changed daily, especially when traveling with children. One more issue is that the kitchen has barely nothing, not even a cleaning cloth.

Well worth considering.
My wife and I stayed at the VIK Club Coral Beach for 1 week from 15/4/12 with our 11-year old granddaughter. We chose all-inclusive. This was our 3rd experience of all-inclusive (self-catering being our normal preference) and this was the best we have had. The food was good with a good variety at every meal. We were glad, however, that we were staying for just 1 week as by the end of the week things were becoming a bit repetitive. The accommodation was very pleasant being self-contained chalets, with lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and 2 large bedrooms. The hotel is quite well removed from the centre of Playa Blanca so hiring a car might be worth considering. We didn't do this as we found the local bus cheap (1.20 euro per trip) and regular (every 1/2 hour). Quite exposed as well so can get windy. The best part about the whole experience for us was Gemma, the Spanish girl who ran the entertainment. She was superb with our granddaughter and really made her holiday for her. Thanks Gemma!!

Great time.
Although the hotel was a little remote all the facilities were excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful, the food and drink was always good and plentiful, the New Year Gala dinner was particularly good, the swimming pool and surrounding area was always very clean. The villas are an amazing size, two bedrooms, two shower rooms, a very roomy kitchen area, sitting/dining room and satellite TV (although not many English channels). As it was the winter period there was not a lot of entertainment going on as there were not enough guests to participate but Gemma did a marvellous job. A car is definately a bonus to get about the island although the courtesy bus takes you to Playa Blanca daily as does the local Number 30 bus which goes every half hour. Altogether a great holiday.

El hotel ea bonito, las habitaciones cómodas para ir en familia o amigos, lastimosamente la ubicación es malisima queda demasiado lejos, para llegar ahí hay que tomar 2 buses y luego caminar 15 min de la última parada, lo ideal es alquilar coche, por otro lado como servicios que ofrecen dice en su descripción que hay playa y se puede hacer snorkel, no hay acceso a la playa, es rocosa por lo tanto imposible de bañar y no se puede hacer snorkel.

Grosses Appartement mit zweckmässiger Einrichtung. Zusätzliche Services wie Internet und Safe stehen gegen Aufpreis zur Verfügung und funktionieren auch einwandfrei. Anlage ist überschaubar und gepflegt. Kinderspielplatz ist bescheiden. Personal durchwegs freundlich. Essen war nicht besonders.

aspetti positivi: posizione, spaziosità e privacy degli alloggi, giardino ben tenuto, vista mozzafiato, personale del ristorante e delle pulizie sempre cordiale e gentile. aspetti negativi: pulizia nelle camere, servizio di pulizia per 5 giorni su 7 (il mercoledì e la domenica non vengono eseguite), lenzuola non cambiate tutti i giorni (le salviette si), poca scelta nel cibo e cibo riciclato (a pranzo veniva riciclato il cibo della sera precedente), accoglienza poco professionale (nessuno ti accompagna al tuo alloggio)
