Not for self caterers best as all inclusive resort

Pros: The bedroom linen and bathroom towels were excellent. Great pool area ideal for familes of all ages.
Cons: Better kitchen/equipment for self caterers. Kettles should be free. Free wi-fi in the bar/reception area for limited period every day..
Location: 15 minute walk to heart of Playa Blanca and plentiful waterside restaurants, or courtesy bus (day) down to Rubicon Marina area.
We booked into a self catering bungalow apartment/room for 3 nights to extend a weeks holiday to 10 days. Approach to resort and Reception area impressive. This building houses the mini market, (very limited) bar and restaurants. We are mature couple with 30 years of self catering holidays. The apartments are in need of some TLC and are small especially the living room/kitchenette area. Just 2 ring hot plates, sink, fridge, small cupboard. Microwave which takes up the only worktop place. First disappointment no kettle. We had bought food from our previous resort but minimal cutlery, no bread or vegetable knifes, no chopping board. No wine glasses or large glasses for beer. If you have your own drinks you just have to use small tumbler. There is no dining table inside the apartment only a coffee table. You can eat outside on the small plastic table just 2 chairs but risk wrath of mosquitos in the evening. Shocked to find kettles come on weekly hire basis! TV also has to be paid for as does Wi-fi (you get just 30 mins free for your entire stay). However bed linen and towels excellent. Free courtesy bus to Playa Blanca/Rubicon area excellent. After a productive and informative talk with the Asst Manager we got a small kettle for free and some cooking untensils..THB group have only taken over this resort a year ago and there is refurbishment programme in place for improved s/c apartments and some outside areas around the pool. Would probably stay again just for night stopover.

Hotel consigliato

Cons: Free wifi
Il Corbeta é ben posizionato (3 minuti di auto dal lungomare di Playa Blanca) ed é un complesso molto grande ed accogliente. La struttura é ben gestita ed il personale si é sempre dimostrato molto cordiale e disponibile. Tra la reception e le camere (meglio dire mini appartamenti), al centro della struttura, vi é un bel complesso di piscine, il fulcro dell'hotel. Le camere sono essenziali ma discrete. Non mi aspettavo un 5 stelle quindi non ho nessuna lamentela al riguardo. L'unica aspetto critico é la mancanza di accesso gratutito al wifi, sia nelle stanza che negli spazi comuni, se non a pagamento. Detto questo lo consiglierei e ci tornerei sicuramente.

Nous venons de rentrer de Lanzarote et nous sommes satisfait du séjour au thb corbeta même si le premier jour a été un peu chaotique. J'avais réservé un bungalow avec cuisine. Quelle déception à notre arrivée : mobilier abîme, vétuste, pas de climatisation, une literie affreuse, et une salle de bain abîmée. J'étais très déçu surtout pour un hôtel 3 étoiles. Mais grâce au réceptionniste très sympa et qui parlait français, nous avons obtenu une chambre de luxe avec climatisation et vraiment plus agréable. La literie reste quand même pas très confortable. Par contre la piscine, les animations sont très sympas.

Cons: sicuramente il buffet.ci siamo accontentati,non si muore di fame,pero,,,,,,,,,,
Location: ottima posizione tranquilla.la spiaggia di papagayo e da non perdere.sicuramente la passeggiata sull oceano con i negozi
tutto nella norma viaggio tranquillo con volo di linea iberia bungalow in ottima posizione appartamento confortevole con tv a pagamento,. mai accesa.pulizie quotidiane.

Pros: Pleasant atmosphere.
Location: Bit far out -but enjoyable 10 min walk to excellent restaurants/pubs. Reliable town bus service-stop outside hotel!
Excellent. Most enjoyable 2 weeks in April/May. Towels changed each day. Staff very pleasant and professional. Hotel a bit dated,but kept spotlessly clean. Shuttle bus service to Playa Dorada beach

Good initial impression

The main parts of the hotel are nice but the accommodation, we had a bungalow, was very basic. Very old and tired. Ok for a week but no longer and only space for two. Kitchen area was useless and everything dated. Having said that for what we paid it was good value. Quite a way from town etc but we had a car so just used it as a base and ate out. Nice restaurants in town so no need to eat there. Playa blanca is lovely. Would go back but wouldn't stay at this hotel.

Fair hotel with long walks

Pros: Price
Cons: Decor in room and kitchen.
Location: Too far to walk yo town or beach.
Lots of volcanic ash. Annoying long walk to town because no back door.

Excellent Relaxing Holiday

I've just returned from a weeks stay at the Corbeta Hotel and was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality, compared to what we paid. All the Hotel Staff were very pleasant and friendly and couldn't do enough for you, including the waiters and the young entertaining staff who all had a good rapport with the children. The quality of the food was excellent with a good choice of menu everyday, there was always a good variety of food which catered for everyone, even accommodating people with food tolerances. As you would expect the rooms were basic but adequate and comfortable, with a TV and Safe which you could hire at an additional cost (also wi-fi was available to purchase). There was also plenty of sunbeds around the pool and a free bus service to the local beach and nearby Marina. Excellent value for money and I would defiantly return.

Cons: everything very poor hotel
I cannot believe I was sent to stay here it looked nice on the web site but reality was very much different ,the place was clean but stank ,the beds were covered in old brown blankets ,the furniture was dirty and in a poor state ,the was no privacy outside but more importantly this was supposed to be a self catering apartment the cooker the cooker took one hour to boil enough water to make a cup of tea (no kettle provide),the microwave took up the whole surface so no where to provide food ,the fridge was rusty as was the plate rack and the outer surface of the cupboards had peeled off in various places .I complained to the management but he really wasn't bothered even suggested that I PREPARE FOOD ON THE COFFEE TABLE.He did provide a kettle but his attitude was in difference and not acceptable .I have since heard that this hotel is being run by administrators this would explain a lot .we moved to another hotel on the island at a cost of £528.00 because I did not book a holiday that was worse than my home in the uk.
