We were impressed the minute we arrived at the hotel, reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. First impressions of the hotel was that it was very clean, well kept. Our accommodation was exactly the same, spotless.
The hotel caters excellently for families and the entertainment team work hard to entertain the kids and adults alike!
Dining in the main restraunt was good both in quality and selection, I really can't understand previous reviews that have commented on lack of choice. There was always a choice of 3 or 4 mains for you to help yourself to, ranging from chicken, lamb, beef, fish with varying options of veg, potatoes etc. There was also a selection of cook while you wait main options, usually at least two or three from what I saw. There was also your usual snacky or kids orientated stuff like hot dogs, mini burgers, chicken nuggets, pizza, chips etc. The a la carte night was excellent, we opted for the Italian. Veal was delicious!
Outwith the main meal times you can snack in the restraunt beside the pool, which has a salad bar and hot options usually things like chips, hot dogs, burgers. To be honest I didnt find the food to be the same standard as in the main restraunt though.
Couple of strange ones for me: once the main restaurant closed at 9pm there was no sort of snack option available at all within the village and the main bar indoors didn't open until 6pm, with only the small pool bar open during the day. I imagine this will be busy peak season.
