Generally a pretty good experience overall. Cleanliness in the eating area not always great and food range a bit repetitive after 7 days. Eating out for some of the time was necessary

Lovely hotel.
Lovely hotel. The rooms are large and very modern. Always kept very clean and tidy. Pools are cold that is only downfall, the chlorine pool could definitely do with being heated seen as salt one can’t. Good choice of food, though a lot of breakfast items such as sausages were cold most days. Staff always very pleasant, though restaurant manager Juan very rude and found this last time too. Animation team are fabulous, such a good laugh. Would definitely stay again.

One the whole a very good weeks stay at the Elba. Room very comfortable and clean. Had a coffee machine but they were very reluctant to give you the coffee for it. Bottled water provided in the room which is nice. Pool areas very clean and nice pools. Need to enforce the no reserving of sun beds. To many covered in towels all day without getting used.(just remove them like we did) Bar areas good and a good selection of international spirits on the all inclusive if you ask for them. Restaurants. Main buffet one, not bad. A good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner but wouldn’t like to have to eat there everyday if hear for more than a few days. The Italian which you have to book into. We’ll this on our visit was the worst experience of the week. We could only get the last sitting, 9.00pm. We opted for the cold buffet to start, we went up and 80% of items were gone, not refilled. We asked for them. After about 45 mins and asking again the chefs came out with some bread and threw it into the serving area. His attitude was so bad, just because he had to make more items. He didn’t make what we were waiting for. After 1 hour wait we eventually had to have what we could. Everything after that was just a rush. They just wanted to get finished and us out. Struggling to get service for more drinks etc. Asked for a coffee at the end of the meal and were told go get your own in the bar as we have to close. Massive let down to what had been a good visit.

This hotel is in good condition and great facilities for those with young families who like organised entertainment on site and buffet style food. Not for me I'm afraid but nice spacious room and relatively quiet on the outer edges of the complex. Very busy pool area.

Uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience
My experience at this hotel was terrible. The staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming and they didn't provide any of the services they mentioned. Even for simple items such as toothbrush or pillow I had to request them multiple times. The condition of the dining area was horrible, the dishes and cutleries they used were unclean and they were even lip marks on the glasses which was disgusting specially during these pandemic times basic hygienes are very important. I booked a room for 3 adults and in the room there were only 2 proper beds and one pop up bed and it was very uncomfortable staying in that room. Overall the experience was very terrible and I would not suggest staying at this hotel at all.

More staff needed at this hotel. Can take a very long time to get served at the bar and in the buffet restaurant. Plates not cleared from tables when you have finished. Lots of tiny cockroaches in the bar and entertainment area of an evening. I know there are cockroaches in the canary islands but there was an exceptional amount here but only in certain parts of the hotel. Positives....lovely food in the restaurants, nice drinks, lovely pool area. Rooms were nice, clean and modern with very comfy beds.

Diego older guy on the recepion very professional. Very nice and extremely polite cleaner. Food was amazing and with very good variety. We didny like mosquitoes and flies. We have never seen that many mosquitoes. Overall very good property

This is the second year running that we have had a girlie 4 day break at this hotel. The rooms are spotless and the quality of service is brilliant. Staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Food is great too. Hotel has a lot to offer. It is about a 20 minute walk down to the beach but it is a nice walk. My friends and I had a lovely surprise when we returned this year as we were immediately upgraded to the premium suites which was fab as it was our 50th birthdays. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone as it caters for everybody of all ages. We will certainly be returning.

Just like the brochure describes
This is the second time we’ve stayed at Elba Lanzarote, both times as enjoyable as the other. We were delighted on arrival to find out that we had been upgrade to the premium suites so enjoyed the same fantastic standard of accommodation as the main complex but with a few little extra luxuries as well as access to an adults only area with a fab pool and bar and in the morning and evening an exclusive adults only restaurant with an amazing chill out bar area. The hotel complex is clean, spacious, modern and has great facilities. The staff are amongst the friendliest and helpful people you could meet and nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s a little bit of a walk to the beach and marina but once you get there there’s plenty to do and the views are lovely. Couldn’t fault a single thing about this trip, my friends and I loved our 4 night break and plan to make next year our 3rd visit to this lovely hotel.

Everything that’s needed to be a top hotel!
Hotel was perfect for the kids. The animations team were excellent and made the holiday fab for the little ones. The food was okay as far as all inclusive goes. The downfalls were the restaurants were understaffed. Waiting for a drink for up-to 15 mins at the pool bar and waiting for a table in the restaurant is something I’ve never experienced in an all inclusive resort. This unfortunately made stretched some members of staff who ultimately became stressed and made the trip uncomfortable at times, also letting it down for the other staff who were brilliant all of the time. Final verdict is I would return because the pros outweighed the cons but little things that could be easily rectified need to be sorted. I spoke to several other families who all commented on the same the same things so it seemed to be obvious problems, one gent brought it to the pr reps attention who insured him they were not understaffed. Unless they listen to the customers then I can see this almost new hotel taking a dip in form and reviews.

On arrival we were advised of an upgrade to room 273. The upgrade was in fact a downgrade. Asides from it being a larger room, the decor was dated and located at the back of the resort where none of the rooms had been refurbished. It had no resemblance to the pictures on the website. We asked reception if any other rooms were available and were told they were fully booked. We found availability online, so knew there was no truth in this. Our room had a damp problem, our sheets were constantly wet, the floor was moist and water droplets ran down the wall. We also had alot of dust and had to strip our own bed in order for the sheets to be changed. Our cleaner slammed doors in protest about this. The bathroom floor had the same filth in the corners for 4 days and I even witnessed one cleaner mopping the floor with one of the bathroom towels and his foot! On the 4th day brown sludge poured from our taps! We spoke to the hotel management team and showed them pictures. They changed our room back to the type we originally booked (room 152) and it was delightful in comparison. We were invited to the adults only NYE gala by way of apology. The all inclusive option is limited, because we stayed 6 nights over the festive period and not 7 we were unable to use the al la carte restaurant. The buffet restaurant was ok, but very repetitive and not of great quality. One evening we ordered cocktails and the bar man coughed right into them. We will not be returning. So disappointing!

Brief stay at the Elba.
Had a brief stay at the Elba in October 2018. Arrived very late and had a fair wait to check in due to limited number of reception staff. However, room upgrade was welcomed and cold buffet was made available for the late arrivals. Room was well equipped and very quiet. Breakfast taken on the balcony in the sun was very pleasant with a good choice of hot and cold offerings. By contrast, the evening meal was just average and it was preferably to eat at the many restaurant choices in the town, particularly the Rubicon Marina. Hotel facilities were very good, although adults only pool was very small and overcrowded even in the early part of the day. Needs to be a bigger space. Overall, a nice stay but would opt for a B and B option or room only for a future stay, assuming that would be available.

Very happy overall
The rooms are brilliant, perfect for a small or young family but with space. The biggest plus for me was not having to set my alarm for 6.00am to get sunbeds. we were there for 10 nights and the earliest we got up for beds was 8.00am, infact by 11.00am there were still a few spare beds although these didn't have umbrellas. All the staff were super polite and helpful. the animation team were not in your face like some resorts and given the shape of the pools there was an area away from this at the furthers point from the kids pool. The food was excellent although by day 9 when the menu is repeated a little more variety would have been welcome.

Fantastic stay!
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Elba in the Premium Suites part of the hotel. The suite was very modern, clean and fresh and the staff were great. The pool area was really nice and chic, and had a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing hotel
Myself and my 2 children (19 & 14) stayed here for a week at the end of July. We were upgraded to the premium suites which was a nice added bonus. The room was adequately sized for the 3 of us and had plenty of room to store suitcases. All I would say is that 1 pillow each isn’t enough and even though we asked twice for another one we never did get them. There are a choice of 4 restaurants to eat from, the buffet style restaurant had a themed night every night, the Mexican and Kebab night was a big hit. The only downside to the food was breakfast for me as I’m gluten intolerant and on the first day I was given a sausage,4 mini chocolate donuts and 4 slices of cake!! All I wanted was some bread that I could toast myself but every morning gluten free was somehow missed in translation so I gave up. Gemma was always there to greet you at the entrance of the restaurant and even remembered our room number. The staff in the bar area were very friendly and always quick to serve you. Having older children we sat and watched the fabulous animation team do their jobs and you could tell they loved what they were doing, Costa, Patrick and Aaron were amazing and so was the lady who tried to convince us everyday to do aqua gym. I’m still singing the song that they all dance along to with Pepe around the pool !! The spa was lovely & relaxing. Beware the pool is absolutely freezing but once in you do adjust to it. Can’t wait to come back next year we’ve already enquiried to book again.

We were impressed the minute we arrived at the hotel, reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. First impressions of the hotel was that it was very clean, well kept. Our accommodation was exactly the same, spotless. The hotel caters excellently for families and the entertainment team work hard to entertain the kids and adults alike! Dining in the main restraunt was good both in quality and selection, I really can't understand previous reviews that have commented on lack of choice. There was always a choice of 3 or 4 mains for you to help yourself to, ranging from chicken, lamb, beef, fish with varying options of veg, potatoes etc. There was also a selection of cook while you wait main options, usually at least two or three from what I saw. There was also your usual snacky or kids orientated stuff like hot dogs, mini burgers, chicken nuggets, pizza, chips etc. The a la carte night was excellent, we opted for the Italian. Veal was delicious! Outwith the main meal times you can snack in the restraunt beside the pool, which has a salad bar and hot options usually things like chips, hot dogs, burgers. To be honest I didnt find the food to be the same standard as in the main restraunt though. Couple of strange ones for me: once the main restaurant closed at 9pm there was no sort of snack option available at all within the village and the main bar indoors didn't open until 6pm, with only the small pool bar open during the day. I imagine this will be busy peak season.

A lovely family resort
We’ve just returned from 7 nights at Elba & must say we’ve enjoyed every minute. Traveling as a family with 2 adults and a 3 year old toddler. From arrival the staff were amazing the kids club and hotel facilities are second to non and get 5 star from us. The all inclusive is well worth the extra you pay with most drinks available and the food is fresh throughout the day. The only issues which weren’t major but could be made better were. The maids could be more attentive when cleaning the rooms. It was cleaned everyday but not a lot of care was taken when it came to sweeping the balcony & making the beds it was a little rushed. The night time entertainment could be a little more professional with some of the acts appearing to be novice & 3 out of 7 nights it was the hotels animation team doing the shows. Getting booked into the 2 restaurants was a bit of a nightmare meaning we ate in the food hall most of the week. Other than that a brilliant weeks holiday well done Elba

Fantastic hotel.
Great hotel. Visited May 2018 with Wife and 2 small children. Hotel is very well looked after and cleanliness is very good. We arrived the week before the Uk half term and the hotel was busy but not overcrowded. When the Uk half term hit the British hordes descended and it did become a more rowdy atmosphere. Food was very good and varied and the all inclusive drinks were fantastic. The animation team for the kids/adults entertainment were brilliant. Would definitely stay again but not during the Uk school holidays.

I don’t often write reviews, but I have to with this place as I feel that some of the other reviews I read are far too glowing for my liking and didn’t paint an accurate picture. Everyone is allowed an opinion but I can’t see how some of these are so positive? We booked this hotel based on those positive reviews, so I hope you find this useful before you book it. Just to be clear we went with standard accommodation and were all inclusive. The Goods Great for kids - The resort for me is tailored for kids and our two year old daughter had a great time. She loved Pepe land or as she called it play group, Pepe himself and the mini disco. The whole Animation team were amazing, as were all the kiddie facilities. Although too young to be left with the team they always invited her along and were always approaching her so she felt welcome and involved. Generally, all the staff were great with kids too, which was excellent as it really made her holiday. Hotel room - The room was in good condition, although we found the bed a little hard for our liking, but that is just personal preference. Could of done with more pillows (just two) and towels. In fact we had a daily battle to get 3 towels for the 3 of us as our maid kept on leaving just two. Most hotels I have stayed in give you more towels typically 4 for two person occupancy. Great to have a living room area and outside seating especially when putting our daughter to bed. Hotel grounds - were very well maintained and beautiful

Excellent hotel
We were extremely pleased with this hotel/resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice and quality food and drink. Overall service was excellent. We did have a few minor problems with our room but these were rectified within minutes of reporting to reception staff. Will definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Best hotel for relaxation
What a lovely hotel. Stayed here when it was called the Corbeta and thought it was nice then, but the improvements have been impressive. We were upgraded to a premium adults only apt, which had its own large patio area, with comfy sofa and chair and nice sun beds. Beds were the best I have slept in on holiday, really comfortable, lovely modern spacious bathroom, with lots of hot water. Food in the Yaiza restaurant was of good quality, with lots of choice, more so than the El Mirador restaurant which was for the premium guests. Overall, an excellent place to stay with lots to do if you want to, great for children also.

Great Stay!
Check-In was a little bit slow - we found out this is due to there being quite a lot of information to be provided to those checking in. However, we had originally booked a Junior Suite in the Elba Resort Village, but we were upgraded to the Premium Suites on arrival which was a surprise. After check-in, there is a 5-10 minute walk depending on your room number and this is due to the design of the hotel which makes everything a little bit more private for you. Room was clean and spacious with 2 twin beds, and a sofa-bed. The bathroom looks pretty new, and also has a rainfall shower. There was also a patio with 2 sunbeds, and seating outside. It is around 5-10 minutes to Playa Flamingo (there are a few shops and some restaurants next to this large hotel) and is best reached by a side gate (beyond Pepe Land). If you want to go down to the main town which is a bit more lively, this is around a 10 minute walk to the bus station/main town centre. This is reached by exiting through the front entrance, turn right and walk along until you find a break in the path to your right and you'll not be long in the town centre. There is a fair amount of choice in the El Mirador restaurant (adults only), with the usual cured meats/cheese/bread on offer. There is a meat station in evening where meat will be cooked to order. You need to have credit agreed at reception though, or pay by card for drinks.

The hotel is very good. The room is really big and nice. They gave us a free botle of water every day. They only bad thing is the food. The quality is really poor. All food is frozen and not a lot a variety in product. The restaurant staff is very nice. We will come back if they change the food quality. All rest of the hotel very good.

Very nice trip
Nice hotel close to the beach and miles of coastline to walk along. Also close to a volcano you can walk up which was handy. Rooms were nicely set out and roomy, with decking for each room which is a lovely bonus.The shower was a waterfall shower which was fantastic. The pools in the are were kept very well and were very refreshing on the hot days. Staff was very friendly and ready to help.

Very nice hotel.
Hotel was very nice, excellent facilities for the children over Easter holidays. Children's activities were well organised and we couldn't keep our daughter away from them! Rooms are well sized, clean and modern, although the quality of the workmanship is lacking in a few places. Food was good (for Canarian food) and the selection changed regularly. We went half-board initially but upgraded to all-inclusive while away because it worked out better.

Fantastic Stay
Very new and freshly renovated resort. Was impressed with the size of rooms and separate living space as well as private outdoor area within the villas. Poolside space is sparse and didn't feel overcrowded with adult area for those who prefer. Food choice was good but as others have said could be improved on quality and consistency as some days refillings of buffet was not speedy enough. Location is ideal and a short walk from the Playa Blanca town centre but complimentary shuttle bus is available for those who prefer. Overall I would highly recommend this resort for both families and couples and would most definitely return in the future.
