Sol Lanzarote is located on the beach of Matagorda with its fine golden sand, starting point of one of the world's longest seaside promenades connecting Puerto del Carmen with Arrecife. The hotel grounds features four outdoor swimming pools, (one for children and one with climate control), and also a tennis court, surrounded by palm trees and sun loungers, and a Flintstones theme bazar for children. Additional service areas for guests abound on the property, including supermarket, laundry service and laundromat, souvenir shop, hair dresser's and beauty and massage parlor, gym, diving school, and gameroom, and two children's clubs (one for ages 8 mo. to 4 years, and another for 5-12: surcharge for some children's activities).
