“Would recommend this hotel”

Lovely hotel and great location close to flamingo beach and. Few shops/restaurants. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The only downside was lunch in the pool bar was disappointing and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The rooms were also quite dark so hard doing make up and hair in the room while the bathroom was being used by my other half.

“Wonderful relaxing holiday”

Very pleasantly surprised. We had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed the Timanfaya Palace Hotel. The room and sea view was great and the service very personal and friendly. There was a little decorating work taking place near reception but this had no relevance to the atmosphere or the rest of the hotel at all. Breakfast and food in general was lovely. The pool area and sunbathing wonderful...very comfortable and great views across the sea. Playa Blanca is about a 15 minute walk via the coastal walkway or you can stop en route for coffee... a further 15 minutes or so takes you to the Rubicon Marina which has a great selection of restaurants, shopping and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The airport is about a 35 minute transfer away. We aren't disabled but did notice that there was really good access and help for people who need this....ramps, swimming pool hoist, lifts etc. Altogether we really had a very relaxing holiday and would definitely come back here again...not something we would usually say as there is so much world and so little time!!! Hope you enjoy your time as much as us.

“Nice hotel but could do with a few improvements”

Stayed for a week and thought that the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The outdoor spaces were well maintained and very nice to use. The overall design of the hotelwas quite good. The choices for breakfast was large but the quality was variable and the options remained the same all week. The main pains during the stay were; 1. The surely and uninformed reception staff. They really wanted to be somewhere else and were not welcoming during check-in, did not give accurate information about Lanzarote tourist attractions, and then kept us waiting to check out when there was no one else to server. 2. Due to the thin walls and tiled floors, guests returning to their rooms in the wee hours did wake us up almost every night. 3. The limited wi-fi areas (no in room wi-fi) andslow internet speedswere annoying. Also you need a seperate log in foreachdevice you wish to use the wi-fi on. 4. The charges for the fridge and the safe in the room were quite unwelcome. The main pluses were; 1. The ocean views. 2. Free parking. 3. Clean, comfortable rooms.

“Timanfaya Palace Hotel, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote”

Een prima hotel, zeer groot, zonder dat het massaal overkomt. Sfeervol; de foto's van de website geven de sfeer van het hotel goed weer. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Area recommendations
Aanraders: - huur een auto, je kunt dan veel van het eiland zien. - Timanfaya Nationaal Park. - De kustweg naar El Golfo met veel vulkanisch gesteente en hoge golven tegen de rotskust. - Puerto Calero (jachthaven met uitstekende (vis)restaurants). - een dagje met de boot naar Fuerteventura (o.a. de voormalige hoofdstad Bethancuria en het nationaal park Las Dunas). - restaurant La Bahia (bij het hotel vlak om de hoek).
When to go
Eind maart is de temperatuur 's mddags rond 23 graden. Een prima temperatuur om veel van de omgeving te zien. Op Lanzarote waait het vrijwel altijd, dus het is (in deze periode) zelden te warm. Wie voor strandbezoek komt, kan beter in september gaan (warmer zeewater).

“H10 Timanfaya”

Een hotel waar veertigers zich weer jong voelen, gezien de gemiddelde leeftijd. Een echte aanrader. Dit in tegenstelling tot de hoofdstad van het eiland, Arrecife (niks te beleven).

“Geweldig hotel”

Wij kunnen alleen maar positief zijn over dit hotel. Prachtige, grote kamers met hele grote bedden. Mooie ontvangsthal en vriendelijk personeel. Ook buiten was het prachtig en stonden er voldoende ligbedden. Wij hadden nog nooit in zo'n mooi hotel gezeten.

Area recommendations
Thimanfaya natuurpark. Zeer bijzonder en prachtig. Ook een kamelen rit is erg leuk Het gebied La Geria. Bijzondere manier van wijn verbouwen Papagaio strand. Schitterend strand met prachtig helder water. Playa Blanca. Leuk centrum

“Muy buen hotel - recomendable!”

Situado junto al paseo marítimo de Playa Blanca, el H10 Timanfaya Palace es un hotel enorme con muchísimos servicios: dos piscinas, varios restaurantes, gimnasio, peluquería, club infantil, wi-fi... La atención es muy buena y en el buffet del desayuno hay cosas muy ricas y variadas. Lo mejor es que la habitación es muy amplia y LIMPIA. Si vuelvo a Lanzarote, volveré seguro! :)

“mooi gelegen hotel”

Het hotel ziet er mooi uit en vooral de tuin is erg mooi aangelegd. Je hebt leuke plekjes om te liggen bij het zwembad. Het eten was erg goed. Normaal gesproken ben ik half pensioen aan het eind van mijn verblijf wel zat maar hier niet! De vers geperste vruchtensapjes bij het ontbijt waren echt super en de thema avonden waren ook erg lekker. De hotelkamers zijn voor een groot gedeelte gerenoveerd en die kamers zijn prachtig. Ik vond het heerlijk verblijven daar.

op zondag naar de markt in teguise en op zaterdag bij marina rubicon.
