“I Love Puerto del Carmen!!!”

Basic but clean accomodation, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, cooked well and good wide range available. Lanzarote is an amazing island!!!! I would definitely go back, not only to Lanzarote, but to Puerto del Carmen and the CostaMar Aparthotel.

“Very good hotel”

Just back on 3/11/10, and can find no fault with the Costa Mar Apartments. Only went Bed/Breakfast, the breakfast was basic but fine. Did not use for any evening meals, as seemed to be better choice and price in the Costa Mar Shopping Centre area. Red Lion was good, and would recommend this to anyone. Big Spar Supermarket in the Shopping Centre was good also. Apartment was clean and tidy, but only 2 english speaking channels on TV, Eurosport and CNN News. No kettle or toaster in room, just Fridge and 2 hob with oven. No air-con, this had to be rented. Beware of taxi drivers - I had a fare of 2.40, and I gave him two 2 euro coins. He only gave back 0.60 in change, and insisted I'd given him 3 euros. Same thing can happen in shops when you buy several items, they add up wrong by 10 or 20 euros, so be careful and do the maths yourself before you pay.

“Kan tänka mig att bo på detta hotell igen”

Bra läge nära stranden.

Area recommendations
Posillos har en lungnare miljö än i själva Puerto del Carmen, men har ändå gångavstånd till centrum där de bästa restaurangerna finns.

“Aparthotel Costa Mar liegt im Durchschnitt”

Trotz mittelmäßiger Bewertung empfehlenswert, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht unter Durchschnitt zu bewerten ist. Freundlichkeit an Rezeption sehr gut - im Speisesaal kam man sich als Gast eher störend und belästigend vor. Strandlage / Parkplatzsituation gut - jedoch ein ziemlich heruntergekommenes Einkaufs- und Restaurant-Centrum in der Nachbarschaft.

Area recommendations
Lanzarote ist immer noch (wer weiß wie lange noch) sehenswert - einzelne Ziele sind allen guten Reiseführern zu entnehmen. Durch ungebremste Bautätigkeit ist viel und geht immer noch viel "Ursprüngliches" verloren. Bautätigkeit ist teilweise nicht nachvollziebar, wenn man sieht dass andererseits viele Anlagen einfach ungepflegt sind und vergammeln (leerstehend).
Getting around
Mietwagen sind sehr günstig - auch für einzelne Tage.
Dining
Für diejenigen, die einmal der deutschen Küche entfliehen möchten und gerne "probieren": La Bodega Santiago in Yaiza - Spezialitäten: u. a. Lamm Costa Azul in El Golfo - Spezialität: Fisch (so frisch, dass man ihn im Magen noch "zappeln" spürt) Los Gallegos in Orzola - Spezialität: Fisch (nicht davon abschrecken lassen, dass man unmittelbar in der Straße sitzt) El Cortijo in Haria - Spezialität u.a. Zicklein

“COSTA MAR PROCHE DE LA MER”

Pour un appart hotel :équipement cuisine nettement (très) insuffisant, nettoyage des sanitaires uniquement le sol pendant 15 Jours. Changement de serviettes tous les jours. Aucun service chambre le vendredi!! Buffet déjeuner tous les jours identique, sans surprise, pas de fruit ni jus frais. ¨Par contre, jardins et extérieurs bien entretenus et personnel très agréable et serviable.

“bon rapport qualité prix Appartements très spacieux”

Des appartements très spacieux et propres idéaux pour les familles mais à la déco un peu vieillote .Malheureusement clientèle presque exclusivement nordique + quelques italiens et espagnols aucun français donc aucune animation pour les enfants français.......Restauration très correcte sous forme de buffet bien achalandé.Un bémol: boissons payantes obligatoires pour le repas du soir en demi pension et pas de carafe d'eau !Personnel agréable mais il faut maitriser l'espagnol.
