"We stayed four days and really didnt want to leave"
The hotel is situated on a fantastic private beach. The hotel service is one of the best we have exerienced, friendly, competent professional and helpful. The rooms are spacious and compfortable, situated a little way up the mountain from the beach.
The resort was what you expect for a Four Seasons, however the service was what made the stay. They were attentive but not intrusive and manage to preempt our needs. It was the small details that stood out. Great stay.
I absolutely loved everything about this hotel !
The main impression was about the old style Malay villas (yes, you get your own villa) with designer furniture and modern utilities (TV, wi fi, fridge, etc) inside. There are just 8 villas which makes the place really nice and quiet. Btw, all villas are different and you can choose the one you like when booking.
The hotel's restaurant Nam is one of the top rated on the island and the food is great (l liked everything I tried). They also have free cocktail hour for guests every day at 7.
Staff were great (helped booking car rental, spas, provided great tips about the island).
The location is ideal, close to the airport but you don't get bothered by planes taking off and landing, close to the town (pantai cenang) and the beach - 10 minutes walk.
I thought it might be better to be closer to the beach when making a booking but it turned out to be a perfect location as pantai cenang is really a hectic place with a lot of construction in progress (quite different to a typical western beach town).
