“excellent hotel”

I stayed at the imperial with my 15 yr old daughter and we loved it, will be booking again for next year. staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The actual hotel was clean and staff were welcoming, the only thing is they did not have any entertainment or much for teenagers, like a game room or something. but this is not a complaint just an idea. however they had a playroom for little ones. I have stayed in blackpool before at other hotels, but from now on we will only be using the imperial.

“A superb, well maintained Victorian hotel.”

The upkeep of this superb Victorian building must be huge, but well worth it. We upgraded to a sea view suite and enjoyed a luxury experience at a very reasonable cost. Breakfast was very good, and all the staff friendly and parking easy. It is a long time since we were in Blackpool, but we will be returning later in the year for more of same.

“Good but needs a facelift”

This grand old lady is becoming a little tired, she could do with a face lift, to restore her to her former glory. We had a superb sea view from our room, even if the window was a little small. The breakfast was better than many hotels. Car parking was an issue when we arrived, despite having a fairly large car park, there were no spaces available and there were many people looking for somewhere to park, however the receptionist were very pleasant and suggested that I left my keys with her and they would find somewhere for my car.

“Good Hotel for a visit to Blackpool”

Generally a very pleasant stay at the Imperial. Staff very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast buffet excellent. The hotel had a good standard of cleanliness, however the bedrooms were very warm and we were unable to open the window in one room.

“Step back in time”

The hotel has a lovely old world feel to it. Staff were exceptionally pleasant and patient. Swimming pool was good (not a fish pond). Computer available for use. Bar and meals were excellent.

“Great Hotel, Great Staff outdated heating system!”

Generally a pleasing experience. Despite reviews about peeling wallpaper and paint etc, we found decor to be fine, beds comfortable etc. Room was very hot though with no ability to control temps. Had to sleep with windows open! Swimming pool nice and clean and childrens room a nice surprise, if a little limited. Generally very good, but not outstanding.
