Vicky and her team could not do enough to help friendly really helpful. Spotlessly clean really good decor amazing breakfast. As my job takes me to a new B&B every week this must be one of the best I’ve stayed in great value for money Thank you

Ideal weekend stay
We had a great stay at The Fylde. The room was cosy, clean, looked quite newly decorated, welcoming small decorations, basically everything you could ask for. The owners were very welcoming and made sure we were well looked after and great to have a chat with.

Well located. Welcoming. Well nice.
February in Blackpool....must be mad ! We wanted a break, fresh air and a chance to visit some National Trust properties en route. Yes it was quiet but main attractions were open, the Tower and Ballroom for cream tea. A tram ride all the way to Fleetwood where a factory outlet beckoned.

The staff were absolutely lovely - they couldn't possibly have been more helpful! I have stayed in many, many hotels and B&Bs in my time and I have never some across one that had given so much thought to their Customers. The room had an iron, hairdryer etc available along with the standard toiletries that you'd expect to find but, on a table as you came in the front door, was just about everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home - handbag-sized packets of wet wipes to name just one! Spare toilet roll, as much tea and coffee etc as you needed including some fruity teas and special hot chocolates, packs of tissues..... just anything you may have forgotten to pack before you left!! As a pretty seasoned traveller, I found all this so impressive because, very often I get caught out by forgetting something! They even had the good sense to make available bottles of shampoo and conditioner that previous Customers had left behind, rather than chucking them in the bin - what a fabulous idea, which meant I was able to use some pricy L'Oreal shampoo.... Because I'm worth it!! :) Breakfast was marvellous - so much choice and all great quality. I could rabbit a bit more but, I think I've said enough to let you all know that we enjoyed staying here immensely!! The one tiny drawback is that it's not on the seafront but, it's not a big distance and we managed to get up and down to the tram-stop easily - even when it chucked it down!! Thoroughly recommended!!

Returned to this hotel to go to the darts and once again found the hosts very accommodating and friendly. The place was spotless and the breakfast ample. The rooms very very clean and tidy with all the little details covered.

What a gem!
You know the situation, you read other people's reviews, you think the hotel will be good, but when you get there it's horrible - NOT the case here! What a gem of a place. On the whole Blackpool hotels/B&Bs are jaded, tatty, the rooms are tiny and not the kind of place you want to stay for long - but the Fylde International is so different to the norm, it's well worth the extra 5 minutes walk to the beach, it's immaculately clean and very accommodating. We stayed in room 1 (which was downstairs) and if all the other rooms are like this one don't bother looking elsewhere and book this hotel. The room itself was well proportioned, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was top notch (absolute boutique style). Everything has been considered for your comfort and convenience through to a whole jar of coffee instead of the usual 2 sachets. The only criticism was that the room was a tad on the cold side (very high ceilings) and the plates at breakfast could have benefitted from being warmed up. Stay here and you will be VERY pleasantly surprised at what a Blackpool hotel can offer these days.

Great place to stay in Blackpool.
Staying for two days on business. I have never been to a more friendly guest house/hotel. It's run by a lovely woman who trys very hard to make sure you have everything you need for a happy stay. She has cats roaming around -and they add to the home from home feeling. . so if you like cats, as I do, they are also a friendly welcome when you stay there. If you're looking for a place to stay in Blackpool I recommend this hotel because it's good value, clean, quiet, friendly and a nice home made breakfast too. I would definitely stay there again ..

Short break
Stayed for 2 nights in late October to go to a show and the illuminations. This small hotel is comfortable and very nicely decorated. The landlady was attentive without being overbearing and breakfast was of high quality.

Very comfortable and close to the promenade
Arrived mid afternoon for check in, was welcomed and checked in straight away by the owner who was very friendly and accommodating. Room and facilities were very clean and beds comfortable. The downstairs dinning room is very nice, shame I missed the cooked breakfast both mornings I was there. Would stay again for sure!

The only reason this didn't rate 5* was the size of our room. We had a twin room, which was a. It on the 'bijou' size, we had tea making facilities, but it was a little difficult to plug in the kettle, which was under the shelf. There was no mirror near the only plug in the room so drying hair was again a trial. But overall it was all excellent, very clean, owners were very friendly and welcoming, and what can we say about the breakfast. You'd have to be an extremely fussy eater not to find something to your liking, it caters for everyone and I mean everyone! Absolutely excellent. Don't be put off by 'backpackers', there were none, just a very friendly family B&B.

Fantastic hotel . Exceptionally clean
Best night sleep in years due to the most comfortable beds and room . The breakfast is first class and being buffet style means you get as much as you want. Definitely staying again just to play car park shuffle and that's not a bad thing. Best place we've stayed in years

Fantastic hotel in a central location
Everything about this hotel was lovely from our arrival to going home. The room was clean, the buffet style breakfast was ideal and the staff could not do enough to please. The Fylde is definitely more than your average Blackpool B&B. Will definitely be staying there again.

Great for a family visit.
I stayed at this hotel with my 10 year old son for 2 nights. The room was lovely and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was the most perfect start to a busy day. The owners were brilliant and very friendly. Although the parking was tight it was a added bonus which ment I could leave the car knowing it was safe. We will deffinatly stay again.

Clean hotel and rooms, good facilities especially the large guest living room. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful - we were given a larger room on arrival and checked in an hour early. Excellent value for money - we got the room on a deal for £39 - absolute bargain including breakfast!. If we return to Blackpool again would definitely stay at the Fylde International.

Vicky was lovely, as was everyone else in the hotel. We had a 2 night stay it was very relaxing and were encouraged to use any and all facilities rather than stay in our room, which was lovely by the way. breakfast was very good and freshly prepared. We would certainly use this place again.

A lovely place to stay
We stayed here for two nights, the family who run the hotel were very friendly and the room was decorated to a high standard. There is a big choice for breakfast and the hotel is clean, homely and only a 10 minute walk from the beach and main attractions. We would definitely stay here again when we next go to Blackpool and would reccommend it highly.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel
The owners were in the middle of painting the lounge area as we stayed at the hotel out of season, but this didn't spoil our stay as the hosts were very friendly and welcoming which made our stay very enjoyable. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Not a lot of parking available but again the hosts were happy to accomodate us which was brilliant as there is no where really to park apart from the local car parks or short term parking. Breakfast was very good, buffet style and again nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Great place to stay, very local to the city centre, only a few minutes walk to the Tower, shopping centre and theatre.

Friendly hotel
Owner very friendly,room was clean and comfortable. Food at breakfast was well cooked and presented, There was off street parking although not much but even this is unusual in central Blackpool other than at expensive hotels.

The Flyde was a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay, as well as our room we had use of the lounge with large tv, computer, and the dining room, which had an area for children to play. You get a key so that you can come and go as you please. The owner is very helpful she makes you feel right at home. Overall home from home, i would certainly recommend The Flyde for Couples and families.

This is nice place to stay at Blackpool. Staff was very helpful from the moment we entered this place.Nice and homely environment. Room was smaller than expected but nicely decorated and comfortable bed. 12-15 min walk from Blackpool Tower and other attractions. Amazing breakfast.
