Breakfast was fantastic, hosts were friendly, hospitable and helpful. Hotel decor for halloween added to our stay for our little one! Couldn't fault our stay will definitely book again!
Hotel was on seafront and did have free parking so that aspect was good. Room very basic, small double and decent bunk bed.
Bed had no undersheet so just fitted sheet on the mattress so not very comfortable.
Lots of holes on the walls where curtains had been removed and other things.
Small en-suite and the toilet seat came off and chef fixed it still in chef kit!
Breakfast was ok, choice of cereal, fruit juices and some smal danishes. Full English breakfast. However, it was very cheap so get what you pay for.
Sort out bedding, standard of room, repair when dressed for it and would stay again,
Host were friendly and we had a pleasant stay, great breakfast and they even upgraded us FOC due to a cancellation, good location for all amenities and on site parking makes a difference altogether an enjoyable stay
It’s not a hotel it’s a basic B and B, owner was pleasant when I asked a few questions, for the price we paid was a bit disappointed but it’s still Covid and all prices have been really inflated. Breakfast was better the first day on the second day we got less portions, the plus point for me was the sea view. Bed needed to be more sturdy and more pillows overall it’s ok it’s a B and B in Blackpool so don’t expect the ritz. Good location but won’t stay again
Stayed here for 4 nights, Paula and Bryan were absolutely lovely, breakfast was gorgeous, you could chose from cereals, fruit, yoghurt or the traditional fry up which was so tasty and sets you up nicely for the day ahead. Would definitely stay here again, although the bathrooms were not the biggest, it was still enjoyable.
The Receptionist was helpful but the hotel had dirty carpets and an unpleasant smell. The room had a faulty lock that when repaired still didn’t work. My family felt unsafe, the description of the amenities did not match the advert, the kitchen and food for the morning looked grubby. My family did not stay.

An interesting experience
It was ok for our needs but I don't think we shall be booking again
Very outdated & pretty run down property. The double room was about the size of a single room you couldn't swing a cat. Bathroom badly in need of update. Whole place feels in need of some TLC. Not worth the money we paid.
Soap in shower had been used by everyone, absolutely disgusting! Tea facility's were filthy, the room was most definitely NOT what I booked and the size of a shoe box. The breakfast service was good, young staff, very polite, so was the owner, cant fault them but the stay, the room, was like something from the ghetto.
Good night sleep however the bed was a little un comfy, staff was extremly polite and friendly, had 1 issue with my room and they was helpfull to resolve,

The guest house was in a good position being on the promenade ideal for beachfront and amenities. It was a little tired inside as are most guest houses in Blackpool but the staff were friendly and the room was cosy. Breakfast was good. Car parking is very limited, having a large car I was unable to use the car park on sight, so had to hunt around Blackpool for somewhere to park overnight. All in all pleasant enough for overnight stay
Great family who have recently taken over.
They are still doing things to the place and it will take time, but they can not do enough for you.
Would go back.

Very small
This hotel is located great but very small bed uncomfortable with little space in the rooms.
Breakfast nice and staff lovely
We stayed for one night, and we were welcomed with open arms, what a lovely hotel and couple, kids were good to asy daughter was kept amused by the owners children l, breakfast was good and room was comfortable what more do you need, excellent will definitely be going back soon, thanks Bryan Paula and kids, :)
Stayed here with 2 small children and the room was disgraceful to say that children were staying. The sheets and towels were clean but that was all!!!! The floor in the bathroom hadn't seen a brush or mop for a long time. The shower was filthy with broken doors. The owners were nice and friendly but they seem to spend more money on arcade games than cleaning equipment !!!!! Glad I decided to stay for only 1 night.
I booked this hotel based on the great reviews i had read, i knew to expect the hotel was a bit dated but that never bothered us.
Our Room: Firstly it was very small especially for a family room, so difficult to manouvere had to pull a chair out of the way any time we wanted in the wardrobe or drawers. Bin's had no liners and we had to empty the bin into a spare carrier bag and take the rubbish down ourselves. As a family of 3 staying 3 nights we were surprised to only get 2 towels that were never changed during the stay and there was no seperate hand towel in the bathroom. The beds were very springy making it difficult to get a comfortable night sleep.
Bathroom: Tiny en-suite that was really no bigger than a toilet cubicle with a shower unit at the end, no mats on the floor making it uncofortable and frankly dangerous when exiting the shower. the toilet seat had loads of tiny chips/cracks in the front causing scratches to my sons legs. the flimsy shelf fell off the wall and the toilet roll holder fell off several times that we stopped fixing it.despite the poor condition of the room the owners were very nice and the breakfast was great they have a huge selection which was brilliant for my fussy son who had fruit and croissants every morning. the hotel is situated brilliantly for all attractions which we made great use of. I can only assume the good reviews i have read are based on double rooms or singles but certainly can't be on the family room we had.
Owners were very welcoming, lovely breakfast, room hadn't been cleaned on arrival, family room was very small, would say it was more of a single room.

Stayed in hotel for one night. Hotel condition is average but the service we got from the owners was excellent. I will recommend the hotel for the service.
The rooms are OK, The breakfast was good and good vegetarian options were available
The hot water was slightly warm and felt like having a cold shower
Can feel the coils in the matress and woke up with back pain.
Lovely room overlooking the beach and the room has it's own shower and toilet. The hotel is near to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, The Tower, The Lights and all that Blackpool has to offer. The staff are very attentive and catered for all our needs.

Blackpool Illuminations.
The hotel was lovely and clean, though slightly outdated. The service was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel. The location was fantastic with parking, and the price paid for our room was well justified.
We enjoyed our stay at the St Albans. the room was a good size for a Blackpool B & B and the owners Carole and Allen were great. Breakfast was good and bar prices were good. We will come back again.
