We stayed two nights which included a full English buffet breakfast which was excellent, we also dined in the restaurant and again, we were very pleased with the service and quality.
We benefited from some lovely weather so we spent a lot of time on the bar patio area and also around the front grounds of the hotel, which were all very well maintained and attractive.
We would not hesitate to return for another visit in the future.
I really enjoyed my stay in Savoy Blackpool. Of course the name suggested more luxury than there was, but overall the hotel has a lot of charm and very good staff. It is a nice short distance from the centre and the walk along the sea is very enjoyable.
Would definitely recommend.
Two nights in Burnley in December isn't exactly gripping but this hotel made the experience very pleasant. Modern bedroom wing comfortable and clean with high standard fittings. Basis of hotel old mansion really well looked after and attractive. Staff first class - real northern welcome. Super breakfast, which is cooked for you, not a buffet with soggy sausages and flaccid bacon.
Overall first class and recommended if you are in the area. Don't be put off by Burnley the surrounding country is fabulous.
What a treat! The room we had was lovely - it was really big and so clean, with a big en-suite bathroom and a shower to die for! The standard of decor, both in the room and throughout is top notch, there's obviously a great attention to detail from everyone here. All of the staff / managers were lovely. The only thing we were a little confused with was that it isn't really clear who to see when checking in and when eating in the evening - this is done at the bar. We saw a few confused people, but overall it's not such a problem when you get the hang of it. You should eat in the restaurant as the food is really good too. - top marks to the chef.
We had a wonderful stay and definately recommend you go - we will be going back.

Apartment was fab clean all mod cons fully fitted kitchen , state of the art bathroom. Underfloor heating, mood lighting on every room , very good location great places to eat / drink nice shops lovely market village
Feeling of being a member of extended family at a small country house gathering. Immediately felt welcome. Hotel felt indulgent in an 'old school' way - log fire always burning in one of the lounge rooms, attentive service from staff on reception and at the bar.
Though without some of the facilities (pool, spa, etc.) which are now the norm at a lot of hotels in this price bracket, we did not miss them at all. Room and bathroom were excellent, with touches of luxury.

Would not consider staying anywhere else now. I can understand why it is so difficult to get a late booking as people are returning several times a year. The food is excellent and the entertainment is top class, never laughed so much as I did at Bobby Lee and the other comedienne who did a double act till 1am. To sum it up ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
It is with some pride that I write this review of The Cliffs Hotel in Blackpool. My stay was for 5 nights and I can say very enjoyable. The staff were very efficent and welcoming when we arived. We had booked a Sea view room and we got exactly what we booked, Second floor room facing the sea. The room was very clean and fairly comfortable and it was also quiet. The breakfast had lots of choice, though the large dining room was busy food was replaced very quickly when it was running out. The staff in the dinning room were always polite and were able to point one in the right direction when looking for any of the food provided which was all of a very good quality. The pool area was clean and the pool was really very clean. Parking can be abit of a problem at this busy time of year but not impossible as the local streets do have space and there is a car park a block or so away.
The room it self was just a little tired and and the bed covers could do with an upgrade. The bed linen was very clean and crisp. Back to the staff at reception, they were so very helpfull in all or requirements, to be fair all the staff at this hotel were excellent, they must have a good working envoirment and a good Manager.
