Short break ideal.

Pros: Liked the Pool, area and the area where hotel was situated.
Cons: Bit better organisation when the hotel is full, we had to eat outside the restaurant monday morning, it was bit of a nightmare otherwise all fine.
Location: Location good, left into Blackpool by bus or tram, and right into cleveleys and fleetwood. Buses and trams stop opposite the hotel. beach opposite .
Spent few days there, just wanted relaxation, with a health spa pool on site, great for disabledpeople. Can get into pool with a hosit, steps to the pool with rail, jacuzzi alsosame steps. Hotel very friendly, especially debbie behind the reception, nothing is too much trouble. As soon as i got there, she was so friendly and helpfull, and room was nice, clean and cleaned every day. Entertainment was good just shame show didint come on until 2200 hrs thought a bit late as afterevening meal was a big gap...Played bingo but was still long time to wait...Food was good in restaurant and breakfast also.....Liked the area as outside was a bus stop and also tram stop going in both directions, that was great. So if you wanted go into blackpool was so easy and also in to fleetwood. Went to fleetwood market, and just generally went around. Will definetely go back. Was a bit concerned when booking as read many bad reviews. Yes it needs a bit of a refurb in some places as long as you have a clean bed, nice food, good staff to mke your stay pleasant we were happy....

Pros: castle replica look
Cons: complain i am talking abt
my experience was too bad ,luckily i just booked this hotel for one night.room was too smelly and too small.when i booked the hotel its shows all including like indoor swimming and gym ,but when i ask them abt it they were charging me extra for that, some where i think its kind off misleading or wrong information they give just to get booking.according to number of room ,parking space was too small,i had struggle to get parking in the night .

Norbreck

Staying there with my toddler, the room was about 30 degrees, with the radiators off. Our room was over the evening entertainment and so we both had a very bad nights sleep. We checked out early after just one night

Our near Blackpool disaster.

Cons: Issue the key at the same time you book in .
It takes for ever to book in. then you have to que again to get the key. 1hour or ther about it took us. then we got to our room and only a double bed no bed for our grandchild .Ater booking a double and single , We were then sent to another room the other end of the hotel. just the same double room. they want to charge you for a 3 bedded and give you a double with a put u up when there is no room for it . It didnt just hapen to us there were others in the que as well . I asked for my money back no problem. found another hotel along the front we were lucky.

Large hotel in quiet part of Blackpool

Posted 07-Nov-2013
Pros: The food (especially breakfast) was excellent.
Cons: The tired & shabby décor needs sorting out.
Location: There is a tram stop right outside. Buy your ticket (day pass) from the paper-shop round the corner & you'll get it cheaper than paying on the tram.
Was worried after booking by the number of negative reviews. The hotel is a bit dated & shabby in parts but work (ie. painting) was being undertaken while we were there. Due to the size & age of the hotel any refurbishment will be a long process ! Having said that, our (double) room was acceptable (furniture could do with an update) & the bathroom was nearly as big as the room. It was very warm in the room & the window wouldn't open but you might be glad of this during the winter months. Unfortunately our room also had exposed pipeworks so shower & toilet usage next door & upstairs was quite noisy ! We were booked B&B and the breakfast was excellent however the dining room got very busy (people in the know queued up before the doors opened !). Didn't use the restaurant for evening meal but it looked to be of a good standard as well. Had a sandwich from the café one afternoon & this too was of good standard & reasonable price. There is a pool & gym but we didn't make use of this facility (looked nice though !). There is an additional charge for this though. In summary, even though many people have left negative reviews on this hotel, if you go with an open mind (& take into account its Blackpool - which has more than its fair share of dodgy accommodation), you might find it perfectly acceptable.

Liked it!

Had my concerns bearing in mind comments on TripAdvisor. I chose to stay here because my Dad was here on a coach trip up from Suffolk, normally I would have been deterred by reviews and distance from the centre. The room for £27 inc breakfast was remarkable value for money, I travel, I travel for my job and have stayed in the best and the worst. I mean the worst, roaches, no locks on doors, filthy circumstances. My room was clean, the bed was so comfortable and the only thing that marred it was the deaf people in the next room who had their tv on at top volume most of the night. Even I have my limits, they had a very unhappy woman hammering on their door at 3am telling two elderlies to "TURN IT DOWN". The buffet was very good, breakfast a celebration of the cheapest ingredients but all in all I loved this place because every single member of staff was jolly, cared and really, really went out of their way to help everyone. Bloody well done!
