“Enjoyed the hotel very much”
We had 2 nights here. Had dinner in the hotel on the first night as it was raining, it was a 3 course carvery dinner and the meal was excellent, the restaurant was very pleasant with mannerley unobtrusive staff. The breakfasts were very enjoyable also and would reccomend paying for breakfast . Staff seat you, bring you tea, coffee & juice , then it is a buffet, I would say the food was a very good standard. There is a small daily charge to leave your car in the hotel car park but this is perfectly acceptable. We didnt move the car for 2 days and enjoyed riding the trams which are easily accesible from outside the hotel room. We got a sea view with view of the tower. The room was very comfortable, king size bed, large tv and tea and coffee making facilities. We were a little dubious about some of the other reviews which we had read infering noise etc from other rooms but I must say given that our room was very close to the lift, we were not disturbed. The hotel is approximately 20 minute walk from the tower and town centre shops but with the trams so easily accessible not really a problem. It is part of the fun at blackpool to ride the tram. So on the whole we enjoyed the hotel very much, would come back again and reccommend it to others
“one of blackpools best.”
a very nice hotel.
“A Superb Hotel”
This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. Convenient for the attractions, but just far enough away to be quiet. The staff were very thoughtful and polite and the range of food at both breakfast and dinner was both excellent and extensive. The room was very clean and recently refurbished, as were most of the public areas. the thing that impressed me the most was the fact that I stayed at half term during one of the towns busiest times and yet everything had been thought of before hand to ensure the smooth running of the hotel. Eating hours had been extended to avoid long queues, and extra dining space had been provided, helpful notices had been put up. It was fantastic. There was at least one full coach party staying at the hotel, but you would never have noticed, unlike in some hotels where coach parties tend to dominate the public areas. I only stayed at this hotel after a case of over-booking by another hotel and was really glad I did. I will definately be back.
“Very nice hotel”
We really enjoyed staying at the Hilton, and would definately stay again
“Value for money”
This hotel is very good. Breakfast plentiful and lots of choice. Hotel staff very pleasant. Bed a bit hard but wonderful sea view. Ideal location, opposite tram stop at the end of a long day but a nice stroll first thing in a morning to see the attractions.Bar prices are as all hotels, ridiculously over priced, but plenty of bars within a short distance. Very good choice. Would stay again.
“Hilton was a good choice with helpful staff”
Enjoyed my stay. Not too far to walk to Winter Gardens and back to the Hilton each day. Room service was available for an early start. Relaxed in the ppol and Sauna in the evening. Enjoyed my stay. Parking very reasonably priced with plenty of room
“Excellent in all respects”
A first class hotel with very helpful staff and facilities. Restaurants were very good although expensive. Entertainment was provided on the Friday evening with an excellent singer and surroundings were comfortable relaxed and clean.
“Good hotel, location 5 min walk from north pier”
Good hotel, 5 min walk to pier
“As expected!”
First trip to Blackpool - not a great deal to it if you don't want to spend all day at the arcade or bingo, but as expected. The Hilton is right on the sea front, but is quite a walk from the main part of the town - not a great hassle though. There is not much close to the hotel apart from other hotels and the odd convenience store - found it difficult to find somewhere we wanted to eat within close walking distance. Rooms are as would be expected of the Hilton - nicely decorated if smallish, nice sea view etc. Sound insulation leaves a lot to be desired though. Breakfast was good, staff not particularly enthusiastic, but no need to be as it was a buffet! Bar food was good value and tasty, particularly the steak baguette. Overall, no complaints, would stay there again if I ever had cause to go back to Blackpool.
“GREAT STAY”
WE WERE LUCKY TO HAVE NABBED A BARGAIN FOR OUR WEEKEND AWAY. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. A BIT OF A WALK TO THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS, BUT WORTH THE WALK. BE CAREFUL ORDERING ROOM SERVICE THOUGH, WE ORDERED TWO GLASSES OF MILK AND IT COST US £8.40!! DESPITE THIS, WE DID ENJOY OUR STAY.
