"Trainspotting" an der englischen Küste

Posted 01-Jul-2015

D R E A D F U L !!!!!!

HIDEOUS!!!! I can't begin to tell you how bad EVERYTHING is about this "hotel". BUT, If I mention that this time one of my party didn't even get a room key and EVERY time they wanted to gain access to their room they had to be escorted by someone from the front desk you can perhaps see just how pathetic a place it is. Blackpool is desperate to bring itself into the 21st century..... I'm afraid that this place drags it well back into the 19th!!!

The only hotel on the prom!

Posted 24-Feb-2015
Pros: The closeness to town.
Cons: Its looking tired. But what can you expect at these cheap prices!
Location: Plenty, Blackpool has so much. The tower, winter gardens, funny girls, grand theatre and the piers.
Its location is the best feature? Its a lottery what state your room will be like. Mine was an inside with no view as the windows had a plastic film on which you couldn't see through. Wall and ceiling water stained. Door lock inadequate. But was botched up when I mentioned it.

A night on the tiles

Posted 24-Feb-2015 on Hotels
Wanted a room to enable us to have a night on the tiles. The room was fine, although the duvet cover was torn and the bed was quite hard. Saying that we both slept well. Car park was a nightmare.

Not good

Posted 24-Feb-2015
Booked & paid online a lovely double sea view room & spa bath, when booking in after no parking space in hotel carpark which was rammed with cars, we got told the only room they had was a twin room we was livid! The room was plain and dirty with a big draught coming from the window & hair in the bath we was not overly pleased.

Very Disappointed After Several Stays Here

Posted 28-Jan-2015 on Hotels
Arrived at the hotel to be given a room key to an extremely small room, not enough room to even get ready to go out in. Staff not very helpful had to ask for Manager as not prepared to change the room. Eventually changed it to one a bit bigger. On the plus side the location is excellent this being the reason we use this hotel. Not worth the price they charge for this hotel unfortunately.

Altenglisches Hotel, direkt an der Seaside von Blackpool gelegen. Man fühlt sich, wie Ende des 19. Jahrhundert, wunderbar!
