“Nice overall. Fails on the details.”
Overall nice hotel for business travellers. Executive room is not big but comfortable. Breakfast was nice but dinner menu was absolutely below standard. Soup was very thin and came with 2 big chunks of bread which was not fresh. Bang bang chicken was too spicy and inedible. Dessert was disappointing. In the morning, there was no hot water and I had to take a cold shower. When I mentioned it in the evening the receptionist said that someone was in to check it. She suggested for me to check and move me to a different room if needed which was not required as hot water was available again. I would stay here again as I couldn't find anything better close enough to my customer but can't say I enjoyed it.
“With Reservations!”
Very convienient hotel for access. Rooms very clean and well appointed. Busy, but public areas adequate and hotel has good facilities as well. Problem was there was no hot water at 7.30am which rather takes the edge off it! Breakfast, if you are not on inclusive, is a whacking £12.50 and just not worth it. However after complaining about the lack of hot water the breakfast was comped. Staff were good.
“Highly recommend for a family break”
My husband, 10month old daughter and I spent 2 nights at the hotel and found the room very clean and comfortable and spacious. We had our own travel cot (but was offered one by the staff), there was plenty of room for it in the room. The reception staff were really nice and very friendly too. Breakfast was very good pretty much anything and as much as you wished - buckfuzz on arrival was an added bonus! We ate both evenings in the casual dinning area (J28) the food hear was also excellent. We also had full use of the hotels pool and spa which was very nice. I found there were no baby changing facilities but managed to change my baby on the bench. While waiting for my husband after our swim I then notice there was a changer in a disabled toilet in the reception area but unfortunatle was not told about it on arrival. There were plenty of high chairs for meal times. This was our first family hotel stay and it was a pleasure to stay here.
